question:why you don't draw on A4 paper?i think it will looks better,your character is ok,maybe the eye can practice more.
the shadow you put on face are too dark,need according the way of light.
Anyway,keep drawing,then u'll improve a lot!

The hair looks great, it reminds me of Iori from King of Fighters. In this case, try not to be as bold around the lips and the nose. I think if you make if softer, they would seem more tender and feminine. You have a lot of potential Amber. Keep at it :)
