this is a pic from an idea for a story that i'm working on.
In this story Heero disappears on a mission for almost a month. When he returns however Duo notices something is different about him. Though he can't really say what.
About a week after heero's unexplainable return Duo is dragged into an allyway where he finds a seriously battered Heero who asks him who sister helen was to him. When Duo answers the question truthfully Heero says that the Heero Duo saw at the office the past week is not him. (confused myself at this part. hehehe >_<')
Duo listens to heero's explanation and asks how he knows this is heero and not a clone. Heero then tells Duo that there are things only he could ever know. Duo nods and Questions Heero about their meetings during the war. When Heero tells Duo he took parts from deathscythe at their second meeting to repare wing Duo asks Heero what he plans. At this Heero shows a tattoo in his neck and tells duo that he needs to give the others one too, but he has to be sure they are the real pilots and that is where Duo comes in.
Heero says that only Duo knows more about the other pilots then he himself and as such can decide whether or not the others are the real deal. Duo agrees to help and lets heero tattoo 02 on his arm. He then proceeds to inform the others one at the time and tattoo them with their respective number.
However at time passes Duo finds out that Trowa and Quatre are captured and when Heero is captured once more also he decides that Wufei and he himself have to stick together and defend their friends and loved ones. A task that becomes increacingly more difficult because the clones are exact doubles of their friends.
Soon the remaining two 'real' pilots fall in doubt and wonder: how many of their friends may have been replaced by clones? Or are they maybe clones themselves?
Inspite of their uncertainty they keep fighting in hopes of saving their friends.
A story of lies, doubts, confusion and deceit. Will Duo and Wufei overcome their doubts and save their friends? Will they find a way to save their friends? Or will they too fall at the hands of their clones?
i apologize for the blotches but my aunt dropped water on it and it was irreparable, but since i liked it i still put it up!the text says:

-Who do you trust...when you're your own worst enemy?
-watching yourself walking away.
Oh just so everyone knows; i couldn't make Duo's face come out alright so i copied his face from the original. #sighs heavily# I spend three days just trying to get his face to come out okay and failed. #goes chibi and hangs head. Looks up and smiles again.# but i'm practicing hard on getting it right without having to copy it!! and i'm making some progress now! i can almost get his eyes right! #grins#
