Why I love Hiei contest***

Hiei has a very strict, yet helpful honor code, helping those who help him, eye for an eye, never attack from behind, only attack those who are despicable from behind, he believes secrcey is important, he can never ever lie (he only did that once to Yukina, but it really wasn't lying in my opinion. I think she already knew that he was her brother, and Hiei believed what he did was right), and he cares for those and he doesn't really show it. He can be stubborn but he will die for you if you earn his respect or he just likes you. Sometimes he's even nice to Kuwabara, because deep down Hiei really likes Kuwabara, but is a little bit afraid to show it. That's why I love Hiei.

Why I love Hiei? Well I just love everything about him really. He is strong, brave, he cares for his sister, he's quiet, kind, cares for his friends, he can also encurage people without them knowing. Like him saying something that would sound rude, but is actually nice and will push the person to do what he/she wants and pushing him/her to her full potential to prove him wrong. And he can admit to being impressed and isn't afraid to stick for the people that he considers friends. He is also very witty and wise, he also has a very complex and strong honor code. And the first time I saw him I saw him as a hero, he was fighting Seriyuu the blue dragon and got angered and discusted at his actions for killing his former partner, he even put his cloak over his frozen head before fighting to avenge him. I even love his demonic form, even though he only fought in that form twice, first was when he fought Yusuke and the second time in the second YYH movie. I have learned all I can about him, I've even learned more about his voice actor because he played him, I own and have seen countless Hiei pictures/fanarts, I have ordered murchandise of him from Funimation and Japanese sites. And I can't stop myself, I just love everything about him, he is my favorite anime character ever and it will allways be that way, even though Togashi-san stopped making the series it and Hiei will never end for me.

Why I luff Hiei? Geez I hope it's alright to put more them one reason. Number one: I love how cute and stubborn he can be. I love his speed and the way he suddenly appears, scaring people or slashing them in half, that definetly gives him brownie points. He uses fire! Fire is the best element! (in my books anyway = /)I love how skilled he is with a sword and that he doesn't depend on it too much; he has other attacks and can fight bare-handed. I love his height, it makes him cute and funny, some scary demon, threatening to decafitate you that's not even 5ft. Also he has a sense of honour, he seems like a ruthless demon at first, but takes off his cape and covers Byakko's severed head. His demon form, or what I like to call it : The skinny hulk clone. It's so feral and twisted looking with the spikey hair, long, sharp claws, jagan eyes all over his body, green fur?, and yellow sclera. (If you don't know what that is, it's the white part of our eyes.) His Ensatsu-Kokuryuha is just awesome. Not only is it a large black dragon, it incinerates nearly (stupid Mukuro) everything it comes into contact with. And last but not least, his hair...the coulour, the way it defys gravity. *sigh*

There's many reasons besides "he's hot" (even though he is.) I love the little disturbed fire demon because of what his past was like and how he can understand pain and lonliness. I respect how he dealt with his pain by showing no feelings and how he lives for honor and family. I love him because he gives me a lot to think about life, what you want to do with it, and what its purpose it. He shows that there are certain things (like family first) that are honorable and certain things (such as killing without a purpose) that are not. I guess I love him most because I can relate to him, just about anyone who has felt pain or confusion can relate to him. (But he needs to lighten up on Kuwabara, I can get annoyed by him but I don't completely insult him).
