Chaos vs Illusor

Strata v James pt.2
I used four different methods of shading, and even mixed some of them. I added alot of detail and worked really hard on this. The contest is being held on the forums, in the Random section. Chaos is the hydra. Illusor is the feathered dragon, created by Stratadrake. I won the first battle after challenging him. This is his rematch. To have our dragons facing off.

You know? I never took the time to properly look at this dragon of yours... much better than the first time you drew it, indeed. But I can't really recognize my dragon in it.

I love the details in the wings, it's done very well. I suppose the only thing that really bothers me is how the "cracks" in the wings look uniform. If they had been more varied, and not all horizontal, it would look more natural.

I don't think I noticed the different styles of shading you used though...

Wow, if I had that kind of talent, I would be making millions now. You should paint it on a canvas and sell it. I know tons of people who would die for that kind of art work.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet. Man that is one bad @$$ design. The Pheonix with the dragon gives the feal of an eastern piece but the actual style looks much more western. Anyway I don't need to tell you how much this rocks, u rock. Thumbs up

This is incredible i love the shading it's so wonderful to see a true artist using a lot of shading.
