Your eyes
deep withen those dark orbs lies something that scares me
fearing there is something that i can't see
i try my best to read your soul withen your eyes
but there is something that sits there and cries
longing to get out, longing to get away
but deep withen your soul is where it can stay
when i see your soul screaming in pain i can't help but ask
why is it when i look in your eyes, it seems your soul is wearing a mask
trying to hide away from it all
afraid to cry, and afraid to fall
but when i reach out your soul just pushes back
trying to give it something that it lacks
and i try to help but it seems that all this time
that when i looked in your eyes
i didn't see mine...
