Chapter 1 - 1
After I put your blankets into place,
I answer your questions and say goodnight,
You always put a smile on my face,
And it lasts the whole night.
I will put you into bed tonight,
Even though it may be the last time,
For tomorrow may you take flight,
With God in heaven.
Though we all will miss you,
I can only smile,
Because even though your days on Earth are through,
I can know you're finally in peace.
