Chapter 1 - Don't Forget Me, I'll Be In Your Dreams

They said I would grow out of you.
That your not the one.The only. My true.
THey said I was seeing you too much
Such a tender-hearted girl
And such...as him...with that voilent punch.
They said it would never come true
But my heart wasn't about to give up on you.
For three years we knew eachother,
though it seemed longer than that.
When I first saw you on that tree, I didn't know how to react.
Your soft eyes, your silver hair,
I couldn't help but stare.
Many times you yelled at me, and many times you sneered
But I knew deep down inside the secret you wouldn't dare say,
but let it out right before I died that day.
I knew it was true.
I didn't care what they said.
I'm sorry to keep it locked from you...
Your heart filled with dread.
I cried for you when you died, then I said,
"I Love You Kagome!" right before you were gone. dead.
A tear rolled out my eye as i kissed you for the first, and very last time.
I looked up to the sky, "God, please, don't take her away from me!"
I saw a glowing light, that landed by your feet.
It was an angel, wings all white, just as your skin.
She laid a hand on my shoulder, and said, "You must give her in,"
I nodded, though and let the glow touch your face as
I saw your spirit come from the ground.
You lightly touched my cheek, and smiled with sadness in your eye,
"I know you aren't taking this easy, but it's my destiny to die"
You looked at the angel, as she nodded you took her hand, and whispered,
"Goodbye, Inuyasha," as you floated and disappeared.
That night I returned to my tree,
Cheeks still wet from sorrow,
Miroku and Sango pleaded for me to come down,
Hoping they can make my frown into a smile.
A light piece of cloth landed on my lap,
with the scent of you to adapt.
It had written on it words that made me grieve:
Inuyasha,
God has allowed me to write this to you. It's so beautiful up here!
No one else can see what I have wrote, so, here it goes.
I love you too, Inuyasha. I'm sorry for being a stuck up wench sometimes,
and making you scream. But I love you with all my heart and soul.
I'm sorry I never got to show you how much.
Kagome.
Ps. Don't Forget Me, I'll be in your Dreams.
Suddenly I jumped up, sweating all over. You were beside me, startled.
"What's the matter, Inu Yasha?" you asked, silently. "Oh, Kagome...It was nothing," I said
as I threw my arms around her and started to cry silent tears and sobs.
"It's okay," you said." Don't Forget me, I'll be in you Dreams."

Note: This was technically about Kagome's death from her and mostly Inuyasha's point of view. Kagome had died in a battle against a demon as a hostage using what she had left to try and kill it. Sort of like Kikyo, I know, but it's all I could come up with.
