Chapter 1 - The beginning
Mundus: Vergil where are you?
Vergil walked into the chapel.
Vergil: I am here master.
Mundus: Trish has successfully brought Dante to the island.
The name “Dante” has caught his attention.
Vergil: Who?
Mundus: Never mind that. Are you ready to face him?
Vergil lowered his head.
Vergil: I am always ready.
Mundus: That is what I wanted to hear. You are a worthy servant, Vergil. Do not fail me.
Vergil: I won't.
Vergil bowed and walked away.
Trish walked into the chapel.
Vergil ignored her and continued walking and exited the chapel.
Mundus: Report Trish.
Trish: That molten spider has fled from Dante. And he has the sign of the Lionhead.
Mundus: Good. He is almost in position.
Trish: So what is the connection between Dante and Vergil?
Mundus: They are twin brothers you fool. Can you not tell?
Trish: So why is he attempting to kill Dante? Doesn’t he know they are brothers?
Mundus: No, he does not. But that won’t last too long. He will find out eventually.
Trish: But I have heard that they crossed paths on the Teme-ne-Gru?
Mundus: I have brainwashed him. He does not remember.
Trish felt a sense of guilt.
Trish: Sad…….
Mundus: You are not going soft on me, are you?
Trish shook off the feeling.
Trish: Of course not, my lord.
Mundus: Good.

Vergil walked down the hall of the castle.
Vergil: [Dante…. that name is familiar… but how is that possible? I always have worked under Mundus and I never came across that name.]
Vergil entered a bedroom.
Vergil: [He will come in here for the statue next to the mirror…. The mirror. That is where I make my attack.]
Vergil walked into the mirror.
The name “Dante” still bothered him.
Vergil: [Who is he? And why is he so important to Mundus?]
Vergil sat quietly in the mirrored bedroom and waited.
