Hi, I'm junana107! I agree with a lot of what Kitsune had to say in her yaoi rant, but I'm here to protect yuri, too!

For those who don't know, yuri is girlxgirl relationships. I know that most of the people who read yuri are perverted boys, but there is a good side to yuri, too. And I can't stand people you fight for yaoi, yet get all homophobic when it comes to yuri. To me, it's all Love, and you can't restrict that. Unless of course it's incest or Lolita because to me that's just wrong. You can call me a hypocrite of you like, but that's just the way I feel. And another thing that gets me upset is the fact that it seems like you can't defend a gay person or they think you're gay, too. I am straight, yet I see nothing wrong with gays and lesbians. Like I said, it's all love to me! So support yuri on the net as well as yaoi!

I'm a Yaoi fan, and you bring up pretty good points about Yuri. Yep, what's wrong with same-sex relations. I agree with you, it's all love. :)

you make a good point i myself do not have a problom with yori or yuri but there are lines that some have crossed that make me kring.
oh and fyi i'm not a perv i just try to look at every art and comment on ones i thnik are good.
story's are the best but art has good sides to.

I fully agree with both you and Kitsune. Like you said love is love and you can not change that. It may weird some people out but hey, that's the way it is.

Well, as far as the whole incest thing goes, if it's like cousins who happen to fall in love, then I would warn them about what might happen if they have kids, but I won't condem them. The incest I really don't like are the perverted adults who trick their children into having sex with them. That's the only line I draw is when it comes to children.

umm I do think you are a hypocrite slightly. as you say love is love and why should insecst be any more condemned than straightness. It is all love and it includes everybody

That's true. I used to hate yaoi/yuri. I was nearly corrupted by my own foolishness. I was such a fool.

But now, thanks to Kitsune's Yaoi Rant, I see the light. I now know the truth.Yaoi/yuri, unless extremely perverted, is not all that bad. And I realized that we should defend gays and not treat them differently, 'coz they're also human. I am straight, but now I recognize the rights of lesbians all over the world, although I am still not comfy with lesbians. ^^;;

I applaud your grand effort to defend the love that must be hidden from the world in order for acceptance to continue. I am, in fact, a lesbian, but I don't condemn heterosexual relationships either. If you love someone there should not be anything wrong with it.

Man, i support you all the way!! while i personally love Yaoi (obviously), i also respect Yuri. i'll admit that um...it sort of weirds me out a little but i wouldn't say i was at all homophobic about it! there is nothing wrong with being a lesbien and i am totally for them! go gay men and women of the world!!!
and i think you have a good point about the defending gays thing. that is one reason that i some times keep to myself because i don't want people to condeme me or think i'm gay. i'm straight, but i still support gay rights. maybe someday people will except it for what it is.

True that! I am a major yuri fan, and always will be. Yaoi weirds me out, but I won't condemn it, I just won't look at it when I can avoid it. live and let live ya know???
