Tearing me Apart

You are tearing me apart

In the realms of my heart

There are things you need to know.

Like, I love you for a start

More than ever, I love you so.

Yet you probably feel so different.

I love you but you will never love me back.

And it is tearing me apart.

I feel so light and airy.

Filled with the freshest love.

Yet a layer of torment

Lies blocking the peaceful dove.

I love you so much

Yet you do not feel the same.

I want to hold you, love you.

I don't mean to sound lame

But I love you

Please understand.

I love you

Give my weary heart a hand.

You are tearing me apart.

You are driving me mad.

Because…..

I love you.
