With every hit and push that you’d make
Made a dent in my heart
All the feelings that I had, I’d fake
So not to get hit or pushed, I soon fell apart
Everything that you’d do I would hide so no one would see
Who you really were with me….
Whenever you were near
I’d always hear this voice
Telling me you’re my greatest fear
And that I’d always have a choice
Again I’d hide the truth so no one would see

Good thing we can edit. So, I'm a bit in the semi-awake zone. But is this symbolic or actually saying the person was abusive, mentally or physically?
