Your critisism is how to say it...harsh,yup that's the right word.
Don't feel superior having this ability.That was the reason I quitted the University I joined a couple of years ago.
I was studying Art History and Art Critic.So don't even try to make other ppl feel beeter or feel like their art is rubbish.
Art is a way of expression.Ppl show/express their feelings by art.I saw many pieces of art having just a plain red and some yellow stiches.That's art.The one who drew that doesn't mean that he can't draw figures or something.He just love this way to express his feelings.You are not the one who can add a critisism.
After all The Art Critic is an artist that failed draw and express his feelings.
I can survive throw any critisism cuz as I told you I wa in the Financial Art University in Greece.And great artist do many critics harsher than yours.But these great artists told me that thing I told you before.
I feel really good drawing that way and I don't try to make other ppl feel bad or sorry of their drawings.
If you want to do this do it.But think of what I told you.
You commented on my picture and you gave me a score 85/100 for my picture,and I say thanx.
What I don't like is the attitude you have even when you add a comment on your pictures.
I respect your word but I hate that kind of critisism.
You say that you are a proffesional animator and that means that you know many things.Keep it for yourself.Your art is great.

Hi, thanks for the comments on my pictures, they were helpful. I already know hands and arms are my weakpoints, as well as detailed faces, but it's a work in progress.
I'm glad to see someone else agrees with me about females actually having clothes on, I hate the way that most of the time the characters are hardly wearing anything, lol. Thanks again!

Thank you for the tips, to be honest though, hat drawing was old anyway and the thing was giving me a pain so I pretty much rushed it ^^; plus that was done completely by hand on the computer with a mouse. I was scanned images now.

One more thing, the anatomy is suppose to be in that sorta way. They're a creature that I made up called Shandaries that are suppose to resemble dog/deer like figure. Again though, done on computer and with where I continued it was hard to change anything so I just put the ending touches, not caring too much.

Oh well, Your comment will go to great use though! ^^

Hey i just stumbled absent-mindedly here and read your profile and i feel myself going "yes, that sounds reasonable" =P Good Philosophy and i agree that anime (even though i do draw it sometimes) does turn up everywhere.

Thanks, i work really hard to get the proportions right =P i'm trying out some new eyes which are less manga-like, but they look a bit stoned so i'll soldier on *scribbles away frantically on MSpaint*
 
How about some good old-fashioned rocket launchers? you can write a lot more names in one go lol I think i might be that violent

I'm not fully against manga/anime, just as long as its not stuck as the only style someone knows. I actually really love Sprited Away and Misyaki's stuff. But when anime becomes someone's only style, that's bad.

Keep practicing. It took me a while to break my anime habit but I eventually wriggled free.I recommend checking out some of Burne Hogarth's stuff. useless trivia: Disney was inspired by Burne Hogarth's style when they did the old movie Tarzan, which is one of my favorite kids movies.

Will do c'ptain! Miyazaki's a big influence for me, especially Howl's moving castle and the book by Diane Wynne-jones it came from.
 
I will strive for less anime-ness and more unique-ness but anime's just to easy to draw *looks weak* its simple just to graduate into anime, but i'll need a rope ladder and an icepick to get out.
 
Yeah, Halo's not as good as everyone says lol i played it on a friend's xbox but it bored the crap outta me in 2 minutes =P Bring back the jigsaw!

hey thanx for comments! lol i read ur profile :) i like anime and used to copy pictures from actual anime's but like you said its pretty popular... i am trying to come up with my own style... there is more then 1 style of anime y'know :) but yeah i draw a lot of dragons luv em!
