I portray you as one, but don't consider it a bad thing. I have about 1 or 2 real life friends who are furries and they're fine with me. The rest of the furry community has something to fear, for they all make my list of death.

Speaking of fur, do you mind a little constructive criticism on your art? When ever you draw Sonic, you always give him some spots of fur that are noticeable sticking out, giving him too much realism. I'm not a personal fan of it, making it look as if it detracts from the character design, but to each their own.

I enjoy the stories in a Sonic game because they usually end up making me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I'm really glad that the new games tend to beat the message of "friendship" into my head.

I've been around certain sites, and talked to different people, and I couldn't help but notice that the Sonic fanbase was usually nicer than other fanbases (usually on iscribble). This means that Sonic and Mario are the last (semi) honest video game characters.

Also, I actually like Jason Griffith's voice acting after he became cringe-worthy (post-2006).

Derp! I actually DID like Sonic Rush, and SatBK (but because I love the plots of the games the most, and the twist near the end of SatBK was a pretty nicely done unseeable turn of events)

Sonic 4... I'm scared about a lack-of-cutscenes Sonic game (mostly because, once again, I enjoy plot and story... and Sonic cutscenes are some of the best youtube poop fodder)... but I can't help but feel excited about it. Maybe for getting swept up in the other fan's excitement. Maybe because it's a new Sonic game, and I like Sonic. I dunno.

I DO hope, however, that after Sonic 4 is said and done, they won't fully abandon the 3D-style. Sonic cutscenes. Do want.

I believe that Classic Sonic and New Sonic are like completely different animals. You can't compare them. Some people may like one animal more than another. There will be pointless fights about it, as we are human.

Being someone who came in on Sonic Heroes, I'm only used to the 3D-ness of everything. I have played the classics (I got pretty far on 2, but I cheat by saving it ^^;). Although it's nice to see a side-scroller, I don't feel as excited for it as I was for, say, Sonic Unleashed.

Once again, it's psychological. If you're used to a certain version of something, you tend to dislike the other version a little bit less.

I like both Sonics. I just like newer Sonic a little more. I dunno. I'm actually a renegade Mario fan, but my favorite 2D game was Bust-A-Move 2...

I like Sonic 1-2, but didn't get to play a lot of 3 and Knuckles because of how challenging it was. Not to say that it wasn't fun, even when my @$$ was handed to me every two minutes. I never got to play CD, but from what I've heard, the gameplay isn't so top-notch.

As for the other classics, I'd have to say that I adore Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. It's just REALLY addicting - like tetris. Or... something SIMILAR to tetris. And Bust-A-Move/Bubble Bobble. >_>;

The reason why the subject of Mario is a bit... offensive... to me is because (since you didn't read when I wrote it before) it ruined a friendship of mine. Sure, it was an online friendship, but it was a friendship nonetheless. I'm still hurting from it.

that's only because Nintendo keeps going back to games they've already made, taking one, and wringing the nostalgia out of it untill it's dry. Repeat.

I just feel disgusted that people will actually buy their loads of bullshoot. Their disks, being nothing more than the same game they bought about a year or so ago.

And then it's the character compairison (sp?) in general. Mario is an overweight, completely flat Italian stereotype. He doesn't exactly speak, except for the occational "yahoo" or "it'sa Mario time!", making him even more dull against...

Sonic. He's fast, he's cool, and he knows it. He had three comic series about him (now two, because unfortunetally, Sonic the Comic was "killed". More like murdered.), he has a better character design against Mario's... and best of all... holy shoot... he's NOT A FLAT CHARACTER. Sonic, indeed, is the hero of Mobius, blah blah blah, he's caring, blee, thoughtful, bluh, and pretty much a good mobian... but he's also impatient, cocky, and even sometimes mean. Sonic DOES speak, and even when some of his lines are cringe-worthy, it gives him more dimention (sp?), and more fodder for youtube poops.

On top of all this, I lost a friend because of Nintendo, and I'm still hurting about it.
