It appears we have recently witnessed the first FAC account created for use by an automated spambot. During a period of 48 hours the bot was able to post a grand total of about 25,000 comments -- that's one comment every five seconds -- targetting a different userpage for every comment.
As spam goes, the comments were more or less harmless URLs advertising some site, but spam is spam. The account was terminated upon discovery, and all of its 25,000 comments have been removed from userpages.
