Watched one episode, don't know the characters except Edward and Al. But I've got to say, judging the picture, that is awesome. The pose is sweet, and it's really detailed and shaded awesome. Great job!

yes, yes it is. i figured out that it was true back when i sucked, and that later on down the road asmy skills got better (ie this one) it would be a funny name, and the hopes that one day, i would be featured...but that's years away, plus they haven't changed the featured thing yet anywho..

It's kind of odd, but once in a while I type stuff and it only saves part of my comment?? Anyway, what I was wondering was if you you had any art pencils that would be able to punch up those shadows a bit more...  Don't get me wrong this is a terrific drawing, but it looks like only an HB was used... If you had a 2B, 4B and a 6B you could really darken the darkest of dark and with the other shades you could work up to the dark tones...  Just wondered! Overall I love the linear quality in your work: it creates tension and shows some great emotion...

wow you know your art suplies.. but yea that's an HB one. i do have another, but it's really too dark to go with HB, i don't know what it is though..

It's a good picture, the detail on the automail is great. His torso looks a little off in the shading department though, I don't use stroke shading so I have no real input on how to help there. Another thing I see is his eyes, in a situation like the piece is titled he would be glaring at the viewer as opposed to straight ahead, off to the right of the viewer. Just minor issues in my oppinion, the detail in the automail hides those things rather well for the most part so I would not call them major.

well the shading is much better before my scanner lightens it.. and as for his eyes, i think you mean to have him look at you, but i did it that way to make it seem like he doesn't care or something. and thank you, i was going to just have his automail, but that would have been boring.

Bah, you can do it! I only have 5 markers anyway! XD Imprivise! I don't even have a marker blender, I just colour on my markers lmao. And I used chalk for highlights. Trust me on this, its fun!
