me: Haven't drawn a serious pic in awhile, have we?
bob: Nope, 'bout time we did tho.
me: Anyway, this is Maeve again, and is a bit of a spoiler to my readers. I'm not gonna tell how, though.
bob: She is in the afterlife holding the feather of maat, used in the "Weighing of Hearts Ceramony". Here's how it goes.
me: The desceased's heart goes to one side of the scale, with Osiris and a bunch of other gods as witnesses and Anubis and Tloth as the weighers. On the other side of the scale is the feather of maat, or the feather of truth. If your heart weighs more or less than the feather, it gets devoured by Ammit (thankies for correction, Celtic Gurl), the part lion, alligator, and hippo god.
bob: Now you get why we said, "In Ammit's stomach" in our Location part of our profile.
me: The feather of maat in Maeve's hand has a great deal of why she does most of the things in our fanfic. Well, hope you enjoyed this, and please comment.
PS: Glowing orbs around her is her ka (lifeforce).

Awesome picture! I'm so going to read your fic. BTW- I looked at your pics of Aura, and I must have a really bad eye but I can't tell the difference between Aura and Maeve.
