The Dark Knight, hands down has to be the BEST Batman Movie ever. I'll stop there cuz I could go on forever. Anyway I wanted to keep my ticket stub but I know like many of my ticket stubs (concerts, movie , sports) I lose them. You can't lose a Sketchbook so I found a way to place my stub in it and also use in in a painting.

Here's a sample page from my sketchbook. Acrylic and Spray Paint

RosxenaThis is a very nice picture! The Joker pretty much made that movie; it was Heath Ledger at his best.

I like the writing and the red spray paint gives such a good effect. I also like how you added the ticket stub in there, lol.

CRaYoNBoYYeah I agree. The Joker really helped make this movie bigger than expected. Its sad that Heath Ledger isn't around to reprise the role of Joker if he makes a cameo in anymore Batman Movies. He really did do an amazing Job.

Anyway thanks for checking out my drawing. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Actually the only spray paint i used was the black, to blacken my sketchbook page which is originally brown. The red splatters on the bottom was achieved by placing the acrylic paint on a tooth brush and just flicking it onto the page. Pretty neat huh, I learned it from my teacher haha

CRaYoNBoYThanks for the kind words. If you really want to, you should really try it. Who cares if you think you cant paint. If you wanna paint, the only way to get better is to start painting. If you mess up...hey you can always get another ticket stub by watching Batman again haha.

IrishRouletteThat was an awesome idea to put your movie stub into a painting of the wonderful Joker. I love the acrylic paint and how it gives a "film noir" feel to the whole thing. And with all the "HA HA" exclamations painted all over, it's almost as if Joker painted it himself. Hm...^_^

CRaYoNBoYThanks for you comments. I'm pleased you like the idea too. I love how the acrylic and spray paint work together as well. I was actually surprised how cool it turned out. I'm glad i did this piece traditionally rather than digital because I actually have a hard copy where people can actually see and touch the texture of the different mediums i used.

Kyonkichis1KittyGreat idea to put the stub in the piece. Definately one of the best batman movies; HEath Ledger was perfect for the part. Almost so perfect it was scary. Anyway, amazing job with this.

CRaYoNBoYThanks I'm glad you like the idea. Yeah Heath Ledger was amazing! I think if Chris Nolan does decide to do more Batman movies he shouldn't bring back Joker cuz Heath did such a phenomenal job that any performance short of that would be a shame. Maybe only a short cameo like Scarecrow did in the beginning where theres not much acting at all.
