Made-Up Horse Anthro Species!

Yup, I'm aware that these are not exactly new, and that they have been used before. But mine are mine, and they're called Namesroh "nahm-es-row" (or horse man spelled backwards XD When in doubt, use acranyms [i don't really care if i spelt it wrong)

Namesroh are horse-people, but there are several breeds/types of Namesroh: horses, pegasi, ponies (are usually called pygmy-Namesroh), or unicorns.

They can take on the form of a simple horse (usually of their own breed) and can also take on human form (but like foxes or tanuki, the human form takes up alot of energy) The horse-types and the pony-types adapt well in human society (when in their human or horse forms) but the others still take on traits of their normal forms (pegasi still have wings, unicorns still have horns)

The horse-type & pony-type are the most common types of Namesroh, and are usually found in large groups. Are very much like regular horses, but are more intelligent. Sometimes seen as horse gods.

The pegasus-type live in low mountains. Their wings are small and managable, but in order to carry themselves with such small wings, their bones are hollow and (like dragons) have an extra organ that fills with air to help them make themselves lighter and easier to carry in the air. They try to avoid physical combat.

The unicorn-type usually live alone in forests. But must use the magic in their horns often, or else they disappear or die. Their horns can't be used as weapons and can only be used to heal wounds or purify water.


Well, these are just short paragraphs of each and I thought they were pretty good ideas. Hopefully other people like 'em ^_^ Don't worry, I'll think of more ways to make them interesting XD
