"The Roving Gambler"

Description

My original take on two characters from Peter S. Beagle's The Last Unicorn> It's one of my fave books =D It was made into a movie, and it was animated, but I didn't use those character designs. ^^; 
 
[ drawn on printer paper, colored w/ prismacolor pencils. This didnt scan/upload well because it was so light ;-;...]

I like the unicorn, in particular. Using such light, several-colored pastels for the outlines, versus the dark eye, makes it very lovely.

I loved that book, and this is a really nice picture. Horses are hard to draw, and you did a nice job.

nope o.o; It even said "roving" in the book. I checked. I think it's just that it's an uncommon word. In the dictionary it means "wandering from place to place". heehee.
