A stippled pic of Red I did last year in art class. Took forever and I was almost driven crazy by all the tapping noise in the classroom but I think it was worth it.

Another pic based on Red's official character pose . . . I'd say 'blah', were it not for the fact of STIPPLING!You do have to be sorta crazy to do a whole drawing using stippling. All those little dots....
Now try to imagine twelve people in a class doing nonstop stippling for 90 minutes. That's what it was like the last time I did stippling... that sort of noise is hard to forget....

Oh, high five!! That's amazing and it looks like him too. Super sweet. I did a picture of the Macintosh logo in the same technique and it takes a long time, but as you say, in the end, it's really worth it. I really commend you on your dark and light.
