Sometimes if you put in enough detail, shading is almost a moot point. It looks better, although it stil feels 'flat' in some spots. That's one of the uses for shading, a little bit around the edges can help give it more of a 'rounded' appearance than just detail alone.Normally I'd comment on dragon physiology, but I don't think I ever told you that I don't go for eastern style dragons. It's partly because of the traditions surrounding them, but also because I don't see their more serpentine shape as being very practical. So I won't be commenting on that like I'd want to. Great job here on the detail, and again, especially with the varying size scales between areas on the dragon's body.
