Heh, this took me a while to color. Probably all the shading I had to do thanks to the window lol. Ok, this is my attempt at NextGuardian's competition. I chose to do his Original Character Ekyt looking depressed, coz I don't think I'd be able to draw Linda-Su. Basically the darkness of the room represents his depressed soul, and the window a possible glimmer of hope. I came up with that crazy line too to reinforce the meaning of the pic. Don't know if it quite worked though...I'll let you guys decide lol. Please enjoy!!

I think you did a pretty good job at the symbolism but he probably could've been darker as if the 'darkness' is engulfing him but the 'light' is fighting it off just to give it more of a meaning behind the saying.I'm sure you'll win because this is amazing especially the coloring and the whole facial expression that's your strong point and the poses too.

omg you are SO going to win. this kicks major butt! I LUV IT!!! Fantastic job on the lighting! its not too yellow :D looks like cloudy day kinda light. all in all, GREAT JOB!
