Meet the sixth entry in my elemental dragons series, this is the dragon for electricity now in his fourth and possibly final incarnation. Considering that his previous (third) incarnation was just about perfect, I knew I'd have to do something rather crazy-go-nuts if I was going to achieve such truly stellar results as the fire and ice I started this series with. I started with. Did I? I dunno. I challenged myself to complete this one in time for Christmas, and surprisingly, I did. It's the first drawing I've completed within a single 24-hour time period in awhile.

Anyway, the element of electricity is also known as lightning and (for short) thunder, even though 'thunder' is technically a misnomer. Lightning travels easily through the water element and through the metallic ores of the earth element, and it is considered a partner and complement to the air element in such manifestations as thunderstorms.

The next and penultimate element on my list will be an unlucky seventh: Darkness. Wish me luck....

Heatherenieas an electricity like dragon, I would have used light grays, some light purple and white and yellow mixed, with a hint of blue, the eye, to me, appears to tell me that it is the element of thunder otherwise i would confuse this dragon with fire. the legs tell me its of thunder but the short spikes elsewhere make it seem like fire. I think that this dragon should have had longer spikes like it could have had a set of horns coming out long like, like ifrit off of Final fantasy 10. get the idea? It also could of had longer wings. it's a dragon that should be able to fly real well, and the wings to me don't seem to be large enough.

EraRillianWow! I love the colors! they make this pic so womderful! The only things I can find that may be a bit off are the legs are too small to support the heavey bone plates all over the dragon, and the chest should be slightly bigger because of the size of the head and again, all of the horns and bone plates. The coloring on this is amazing though-great job!

Queen_Asheer5600When I was looking through your upgraded Elementals Thunder really caught my attention. These dragons don't seem like the kind you would be found riding with all those spikes going down their backs I think it would be rather painful. I really love the attention to details and the colors, the tail looks great but I think it should be angeled down slightly more due to the weight it would be carrying with the big tail end.

KFelidaeHmmm. Somehow I expected Thunder to be liether somehow. Aw well.
You're certainly getting into full detail mode with your dragons. I enjoy seeing them, and hope that the rest of the series goes smoothly. =D
