I think "glomp" comes from clamp. I mean, when you "glomp someone, you pretty much clamp onto them....XD~Kathie ^_^~

ok, i'm no expert, but while reading "x-1999" by Clamp (good series by the way ^^) in one part Fuma comes up and hugs kamui, and the little sound effect was "glom." or somthing like that. i think Glomp is simply a sound effect that people use to refer to randomly hugging/tackling peeps. and...thats it. later.
