Harry: Alex, I need to talk to you. Right now. Outside this room. *grabs him by the shoulder and pulls him out of the room, then closes the door behind him*

Alex: ? *is pulled out of the room* ...What's going on, man? D: you come back from the dead, you'd think your girlfriend would be a bit more excited to see you. Do you know why she seemed so... edgy?

*IN THE ROOM*

Key: ...I have a feeling this won't turn out well... at all. D:>

Harry: Uh... well, Key wasn't doing too well when you died... er... she needed someone to comfort her... and... well... YOU weren't there... and Todd WAS... and it wasn't like you were coming BACK...

Alex: Wait, lemme get this straight, you're telling me that.. that Mickey and the Hunter are... together?

*IN THE ROOM*

Key: *stands from her bed, and goes to sit next to Todd* Hey, you'll be okay. We just have to keep "public displays of affection" to a minimum... just until he gets used to it...

Scott: Hey, I'm his dad - I believe it. :P He's just a bit more talkative here, is all.

Key: heheheh... yeah. gets a bit more serious now* So... we need to fight here, every day. You're lucky that you came in right as they gave us a break... Can you fight?

Scott: Uh... no. D: I-I'm all about peace, man. I dunno what I'm gonna do...

Key: *groans, running a hand through her hair* Okay, that might be a bit of a problem... We're gonna have to get you a weapon or something... Because out there, if you don't fight, you get killed.

Key: ...not until they decide to let us out.... and who knows how long that'll take...

Key: Most of the back-up troops are zombies... so... *suddenly realizes osmething* Oh, GOD, the infected...! *facepalms* Wow. OKAY. That's definitely not good.

Key: the zombies fighting for our side. I don't know if you're immune to them or not...

Scott: Uh... let's HOPE I'm immune to them, or whatever, because I DO NOT want to be a zombie. D:

Key: I really really hope not, for both your sakes... mutating into one of those things is not a pleasant experience...

Scott: Well, Todd was CURED... so a cure of possible.

Key: Yeah, but I don't know if we have enough left over... *shakes her head* I'll go ask Jacob later. Have you been assigned a room yet?

Scott: Yeah, the fuzzy guy walked passed me, and I asked. I'm a few rooms away from you guys.

Key: Oh! Okay then. That's good. Umm.... *is out of conversation topics again (god, i need to work on my people skills...)*

Scott: So the others are asleep, right? What, did they pull an all-nighter? That's not very healthy... :/

Key: Err... you could say that...

Key: No, uhh... I already knew him before we got pulled in here. We were, umm.... traveling together. Harry, Todd and I.

Scott: SO, since you know so much... do you know why Todd looks like he does?

Key: Ah... *looks down* Well... you see... *feels no reason to keep the truth from him--it IS his son, after all* .... When they pulled us out of our world and into here--the Raccoon and the Fish, I mean--we were in the middle of what was basically a zombie apocalypse. Todd... he got bitten. I hadn't met either of the guys at that point, but.. Todd was already a zombie when i met him. :(

Scott: *doesn't know what else to say, so it comes out as a random question* ...And somehow he doesn't want brains? :/

Key: *laughs a bit at his phrasing* No... we found the cure. He USED TO want... brains... but now he doesn't. Unfortunately, he's still stuck looking like a zombie... *frowns. she had rather enjoyed the time she had with him when he was human... well of COURSE she would've. duh. (would've been perfect if not for that damn Raccoon and that damn FISH)*

Scott: Ah... *he rubs the back of his neck. He hides his feelings well* ... well. Then. Blue skin. Kinda sucks. SO! You! Yeah! What's the status between you two? Are you guys... y'know...

Key: W-What? *blushes a bit* Oh! umm... y-yeah, I... I guess you could say that. Yeah.

Scott: Hahaha... I knew it. I know these things. I'm a parent, after all.

Scott: Hah, now that I think about it, I remember Harry... Todd never got over his death, though...

Key: Wait--Death? What are you talking about? How? When? D: *knows that things could change between multiple timelines of the same universe, but wasn't expecting a change like THAT*

Scott: Oh, it was in middle school when Harry's father was sent to prison and given the death penalty for - if you can believe it - beating his own child to death. Hell, we didn't even know that that was going on. I mean... I SUSPECTED something was up, but never... ... he always came over to our home covered in bruises and cuts. He said he fell down a lot. That he was clumsy. And then... dead. It was on the news. Bam. An arrest for a Mr. Gaszky for the murder of his kid, Harry. Todd... hoo boy. Todd was still going to therapy when I was sent here - and he's the same age as THIS Todd.

Key: *is shocked. She hadn't realized a timeline could change that much (Harry? Dead??)* W-Wow, umm... That's... That's terrible..... *looks down* Those two really were close... still are...

Scott: ... yeah. That would explain why my... er, universe's... Todd is a real quiet kid, now. He almost committed suicide. Got me worried.

Key: *is even more shocked by this. She never thought she'd hear "Todd" and "Suicide" in the same sentence* ....I ... can't even imagine him doing that... he was always so positive....

Scott: POSITIVE? Hah! I'd like to see that. At least in MY Todd. That would be nicer that the Mr. Negative I got.

Key: *laughs a bit* Yeah... he's seriously the one that kept Harry and I going. *sighs, remembering how he brought her out of her depression after Alex died* I don't think we would've made it as far as we did without him... we would've gone crazy.

Scott: ... *he smiles sadly* ... that seems rather nice. It's hard to believe how one person can change everything.

Key: Right? Hard to believe, but very true. *smiles* He's a really good guy.

Harry: Your dad was getting creeped out.

Todd: ... oh... *he glances back at his father* sorry... kinda an unreal moment for me...

Key: *squeezes his shoulder reassuringly* It's completely understandable...

Scott: Uh... Philadelphia?

Todd: ... I guess you wouldn't know. re there zombies?

Scott: In Philadelphia?? D: That would be cool and all, but, uh... no. That'd be weird.

Harry: No zombies. You're alive. It seems pretty blissful.

Scott: Well, the economy's going down the tubes, so not so much. :/

Key: *lets her hand slide off Todd's shoulder* Heh. Trust me, you'd much rather be there than here...

Scott: Well, I guess so. :P So... so! Is there anywhere for me to stay?

Harry: Talk to a talking animal thing with large ears named Eclipse. He'll help you.

Scott: Gotcha. *walks out of the room*

Key: *finds herself relaxing a bit* Well, then... that was... odd...

Todd: No kidding. I was staring at my dead father.

Harry: Yes. I didn't think you were even remembering to breathe when you did that.

Key: *rubs the back of her neck* Yeah, you had us a little worried... oh! *hands Todd the bottle of peelz* Jacob said to take one every night before you go to sleep, and that it should knock you right out.

Todd: *takes the bottle* thanks...

Harry: ... now what?

Key: I guess we just hang around for a while. rest. not much else to do, really...

Harry: Alright then. *a brief pause* Yeesh, I hope they don't bring MY dad here...

Todd: ... right... the one you recently... m-

Harry: Yeah, that guy. So they have the power to pull people from wherever...

Key: mhmm.... it's kind of a scary thought, huh? they can pull anyone or anyTHING from anywhere.... I mean, the other side had a freaking DRAGON. Like, a REAL dragon. And that purple monster... thing! Who knows what else they could pull out? D:

Harry: ... anything that they've created...

Todd: B-but you have to remember! They can pull things that will help US, too!

Key: Right! Like... like when they dropped that blue and brown fuzzy thing out of nowhere the first day! That ended up saving our skins! <:D

Harry: ... we should get some sleep, now that Todd can.

Todd: Oh, right. ._. *takes the pill bottle and unscrews it*

Key: ...you two go ahead, I just got up...

Harry: Really? shoot, it must be early... oh well. Good night. Morning. Whatever. *he crashes onto his bed like a falling tree, only remember to get himself under the sheets a few minutes after*

Todd: ._.; *takes a pill, then gets into bed*

Scott: *was there, leaning against the wall* Hey there. I never got your name.

Key: *didn't see him standing there, and jumps a bit before turning to look at him* U-Uh... Dawson. Mikaela Dawson. *suddenly realizes this is the first time since the infection started that she's given out her full name... to Todd's DAD, no less!* ....I-I never go your name.

Scott: Cool. I'm Scott Huntings. Don't call me Mr. Huntings, though - I'll feel old. *he grins, much like Todd does*

Key: Okay, Scott. *feels a bit odd using his first name, but doesn't complain. she rubs the back of his neck* Sooo... You're Todd's dad, right?

Harry: *walks to their room* I just needed proof was all. *his hand twitches*

Todd: We've got two days of rest, it seems.

Key: The fish and the raccoon decided to give us a break, apparently.... good thing too, a lot of us were a bit worse for wear after the last fight...

*they arrive at the room and enter it*

Todd: ... so... we can just relax then, I guess.

Harry: *he puts a hand over his eyes* ...

Todd: Harry? Are you okay? D:

Harry: mmf... yeah, fine. I went crazy. Other than that, I'm totally fine.

Key: ... I think you both need some SLEEP. You've had a rough last few days... D:

Harry: Fine then. *goes into the bathroom to get ready for bed*

Key: ....you want me to see if Jacob has something to help you sleep....?

Harry: How did you get infected...?

Todd: Uh... they put special infected on the field. A Boomer exploded on me.

Todd: Harry... are you sure you're okay? I mean... that was a LOT to just... suddenly snap back from...

Harry: *takes Todd by the opposite shoulder and forces him closer* Well, yeah. I don't think I'm still all really here. But it's hard to tell, since I'm the one who's crazy. I dunno.

Todd: *feels awkward this close to Harry* Harry, we're just friends. ._.

Harry: Aha. Hah. Hah. *awkwardly lets go of Todd*

Todd: I died, and you went nuts. Is there something I'm missing here...?

Harry: Maybe I was just having one long episode or something, like what happened with my father...

Todd: *shudders at the memory* ... maybe...

Key: *comes back, a white pill bottle in her hand. She looked very much surprised... next to her was a tall, muscular, balding man* Umm.... Do either of you know this guy...?

Scott: HOLY - Todd?? What's with the make-up, guy? And where the hell am I?? D:

Todd: ...?

Harry: Todd, who is this guy?

Todd: *wonders where he could have met this man, when suddenly it dawns on him. That fuzzy image of his father suddenly filled in his mind. This man was his dad - this man was supposed to be DEAD! Todd became silent. Very confused* D... Dad...?

Harry: !... ????

Scott: ARE you Todd? D:

Todd: *he stared as his father some more, tears starting to run down his cheeks* ... b-b-but... you DIED...

Scott: nnnnooo? D:

Key: *becomes confused as well. Todd had told her his dad DIED... how was in the world was he there? Then she remembered-- the Raccoon and the Fish can pull people from wherever they want. It was like the... witch... (god, that was scary) suddenly, this seemed a whole lot more possible* ....

Todd: *suddenly Todd was hysterical, his face fighting between a smile and a frown as he sobbed* Oh god...! OH GOD...!

Scott: Kiddo? D:>

Todd: *heaving, shoulders shaking, he got up and ran to his father, hugging him tightly, crying into his shoulder like a child* you were dead...!

Scott: *stands there awkwardly* ._. ... *pats Todd on the back* Yo, I'm FINE, Todd. D:>

Harry: *glances at Key* <_< ?

Key: umm... the Fish and the Raccoon can pull people out of whenever and whereever they want... Like.. one day, they brought in a Witch that looked just like me, from some alternate timeline where i wasn't immune.... *decides to omit the part about the Smoker that looked like Harry... she didn't know how he'd react to that*

Harry: Ah. <_<

Todd: *feels like if he lets go of his father, he will simply disappear* ghhnnk... huk...

Scott: Todd... I need to breathe...

Todd: *shaking, he lets go, and just stares at him*

Key: >_>; *suddenly feels like an intruder, and looks at the floor, shuffling her feet awkwardly* <_<;

Harry: *puts a hand on Key's shoulder, and keeps it there firmly. He's preventing her from leaving, but still looking at Todd and Scott* So you're his dad? Do you know where you are?

Scott: No clue. I crash landed, somehow didn't die, and wandered into a portal thing. This talking raccoon explained SOME things to me, but I didn't even get it.

Todd: *just continues staring at his father*

Key: *still looking down. she felt nervous, for some reason* Same thing happened to us... Not to sound like a downer, but.. this isn't really a good place to be... <:/

Scott: Ah, that doesn't seem good... D: the talking raccoon told me about a war that was going on here, and I was all like 'oh shoot!', y'know?

Todd: ...

Harry: We're trying to escape.

Key: *nods* The fights here can get... pretty brutal... We all just want to go home. YES, I'd rather be there than here. just clearing that up.

Scott: Right... *looks over at Todd* can someone get him out of this weird zombie-trance he's got going right now? It's creepy as hell! D:

Todd: ...

Harry: Todd?

Todd: ...

Key: ... *puts a hand on his shoulder and lightly shakes him* Todd. Todd!

Harry: *Stares at Todd with wide eyes* Ghh... you... T...

Harry: Heard you... screaming behind me -

Todd: *winces at this, barely remembering what had happened in that room*

Harry: - remembered... what you looked like before you got infected. Right. Yeah... y-you're Todd...

Todd: ! :D

Harry: *seems a bit more lucid* ... I was put here because you died... but you came back...

Key: :D *she lets Todd do the talking--he's the one that Harry wanted to see, anyway.*

Harry: ... you're not dead anymore...?

Todd: ... Yeah, Harry. Are you back?

Harry: *he gets up, his tall form towering over Todd* ...

Todd: ...

Harry: ... yeah.

Key: <:D

Harry: *he quickly hugs Todd, then walks out of the room*

Todd: ... shoot...

Key: That was.... fast.

Me: Understood. ^^

*there is silence for a bit. Newman leaves the room*

Jacob: ... oh.

Eclipse: Oh?

Jacob: It was quicker than I thought. I think we're ready to cure Todd. Someone get Key. Eclipse?

Eclipse: Right, right... *he walks over to Key*s room*

IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREA

Eclipse: *knocks on Key*s door*

Me: ' got replaced by *? o.o;

Key: *opens the door* Oh, hey Eclipse. Is Jacob...?

Eclipse: He finished early. Meet outside of Todd's room.

meanwhile

Jacob: *pours the contents into a syringe* ...

Houndour: ...

Key: Okay! :D *starts heading in that direction, a little bit more of a bounce in her step--they were finally bringing Todd back!*

*Jacob, Key, and Eclipse all meet together in front of the door to Todd's room*

Todd: *can be heard growling, hissing and snarling from behind the door*

Jacob: Are we ready? Someone'll have to hold him down.

Eclipse: I can do it.

Key: ... *nods* Let's do this.

Eclipse: *opens the door, going in first. He is suddenly pounced on by Todd*

Todd: RRRYYYYYYYEEE!! *starts clawing at him*

Eclipse: *forces him off using Condemned's strength* GEDDOFF ME!

Todd: *when he hits the ground, he rolls backwards, and back onto his hands and feet, ready to attack again*

Key: *takes out her guns, having picked them up off the hallway in the morning, and points them at him. She fires a warning shot at the floor next to him, hoping to keep his attention on her so Eclipse can hold him down*

Todd: YIPE! *he flinches from the warning shot - Hunters were some of the only infected with a sense of self-preservation. He snarls at Key*

Eclipse: *shoots his tentacles at Todd. They wrap around his neck and wrists, and the mobian pulled him down to the floor*

Todd: *struggles angrily* RAAIIHH! RAAUUURGH!

Jacob: *quicjky moves, pulling up Todd's hoodie and shirt, and injecting him in his bare side* GOT HIM!

Todd: *continues to struggle, but it's slowing down. Soon he isn't struggling at all. Just panting and looking at the floor in a days, eyes half open*

Eclipse: Did it work?

Jacob: ... I... I THINK it did...

Key: *lowers her guns* ....I'd... hold him down for a bit... just to be sure... *slowly approaches him, making sure to stay out of range just in case if he tried to attack*

Todd: *shakes himself awake, and blinks a few times. He looks up at Key. His words come out mumbled* did I turn into a zombie...?

Eclipse: !

Jacob: !!

Key: *smiles sadly* Yeah. You kind of did. *kneels down to his level and hugs him tightly*

Eclipse: *lets go of Todd* ...

Todd: *hugs Key back weakly* ... s'kinda hard to tell... my memory got foggy around after I fainted... then I can only remember little bits and pieces. Did I hurt you...?

Jacob: ...

Key: i'm fine... you almost got Absol and Houndour, but they didn't get hurt either. *smiles reassuringly* i told you it wouldn't end up like the first time.

Todd: ... I have my eyes, right?

Eclipse: *backs out of the room, and walks down to his room in the residential area*

Jacob: *he also backs out, but doesn't fully leave*

Key: *nods* mhmm. i gotta say, it's a pretty big difference. :)

Todd: *he smiles a bit at this* ... that's good. That's very good. *he lets go of Key, and slowly gets up* ...

Key: *stands up with him* ... The others told me that we have a break. Two days without fighting.

Todd: *he smiles again* Oh... *he thinks a bit* ... I want to... see Harry again...

Jacob: *now he leaves*

Key: *nods* I'll go with you.

Todd: *is a Hunter still, and snarls in the room*

Harry: *stays quiet*

Jacob: *now feeling a bit better, he tends to the others in the room they stayed in*

Eclipse: *helping Jacob out*

Key: *comes into the room. she looks like she didn't sleep much, but she isn't nearly as bad as before* Hey... does anyone know why the alarm hasn't gone off...?

Absol: They gave us a break. Two days, no fighting.

Key: ...really? *seems rather relieved by this* That's... wow. *to Jacob* In that case... do you need any help around here?

Jacob: Nah, Eclipse is already giving me a hand. Howsabout you just enjoy your day off, kay? :) *tends to Absol, changing her bandages*

Eclipse: *helps with Houndour* ... I'm surprised that you were willing to come here. You would have to have passed by Todd's room.

Houndour: *glares at Eclipse for mentioning Todd*

Key: *looks up suddenly, then averts her eyes back to the ground* I-I try to ignore him... we can't do anything for him until the cure's ready....

Absol: *watches her as Jacob changes her bandages, intrigued. Houndour's method worked?*

Houndour: I'm glad to see you doing better about it. *he is sincere, then adds -* You, uh... you don't have to hit me anymore.

Eclipse: ... *curious about Todd's condition, and how he acts now, having never witnessed it*

Jacob: *still helping Absol*

Key: I'm... yeah... I'm sorry about last night... I don't know what came over me, but.. it helped. *was also very sincere, then she adds* You could've been a bit less... cruel about it, though...

Houndour: *he shrugs* If I softened it, it wouldn't of been very effective.

THE RACCOON: *SUDDENLY THERE* SEE THAT?? THAT THERE?? SEE WHAT I MADE YOU SAY??

Houndour: I still don't get it.

Key: ...I don't even know if I want to get it.... *to Houndour* Thanks, anyway.... I guess I needed it.

Houndour: Hell, I'm a punching bag back home, why not here too?

Eclipse: Did you die yet?

Houndour: Yes.

Eclipse: ... Oh. I wasn't expecting an actually answer like that. ._.; *turns to Absol* is he lying? Or messing with me, or something?

Jacob: *facepalms*

Absol: ... *recalls the incident with the Shadow Trainer, and shakes her head* He's not lying. I was there when it happened.

Key: *seems surprised to hear this* I thought you guys didn't fight to kill...?

Absol: some trainers aren't so merciful...

Houndour: Beat me to death. I think the only reason why I'm alive NOW is because The Raccoon wanted to use me for the first Between World battle thing.

Eclipse: D: Ah. *snorts* She likes killing people off.

Houndour: I figured.

Eclipse: Had you been written by The Fish, she wouldn't have killed you.

Houndour: How reassuring.

Eclipse: The difference between them is that The Raccoon seems to act on violent impulses in her writing. She treats her characters like little pincushions. The Fish... tends to keep her characters. She's not as cruel. Yin and Yang, I guess.

Jacob: Key. I'm almost done with the cure, y'know. I just need a few more hours.

Key: ! *her face seems to almost light up at this* D-Do you want me to help you with it?

Absol: *continuing the discussion with Eclipse and Houndour* So that's why the Fish was the one who paid us a visit this time. It must've ben her idea. I wonder how many times they argue over how to treat a character...

Jacob: *quickly shakes his head* N-no no... it's is a very careful process... in fact, I should start working on it now... *he moves away from the others, and over to the desk supporting the almost-done cure, and the missing components*

Eclipse: ... *he shrugs at Absol*

Key: O-Okay. I'll just... go wait, then... *leaves the room, walking quickly past Todd's room so she doesn't have to hear him*

Absol: *To Eclipse* How do you know so much about them anyway? Have you actually MET them before this?

Eclipse: They liked to visit our world often. But The Fish wasn't a fish at that point. She was a mobian like me and Jacob.

Jacob: I never...?

Eclipse: They stopped visiting before you came along.

Houndour: ...

Newman: *suddenly runs into the room* OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH! HE... IT... THE STICK GUY! HE'S HERE! HE'S HERE IN THE STRONGHOLD! THIS IS SO EXCITING! 8D

Eclipse: ... what?? D8

Bob: *he follows Newman in* Huh. Nothing's really changed here, has it? :/

Eclipse: *glares at Bob. He hasn't forgiven him*

Houndour: *doesn't look at him*

Jacob: What are you doing here, mister stick man?

Bob: Oh, I heard you guys were fighting again. Not cool, bro - I let you get out because you whined too much. >:C

Absol: *wasn't there the first time so she didn't really know him, but she still didn't like him. she keeps getting a bad vibe from him* ...

Bob: The tall dude's crazy. What the heck! D: He was the one guy who did the one stuff-things, and convinced me to free you jerks, and YEAH! D:

Eclipse: Some things have happened. Get out. >:(

Bob: Hey, I'm chill now, man. No more corruption-via-Final-Fantasy-summon for me! Tim the Gnome is helping me out, I swear! D:

Eclipse: *snorts, and still glares*

Absol: *comes to the conclusion that no one likes the stickman "Bob," but decides to reserve judgement until later* So... why are you here?

Bob: Well, I saw all the fighting from my place, and was wondering what the heck was up with that. R - ... The Raccoon denies things are going on, so I wanted to hear it from you guys, since I don't recognize most of the other side. Now I know. I'm willing to help you guys. :/

Eclipse: *looks away from Bob*

Houndour: How?

Bob: In any way I can. The Raccoon stripped me of most of my character-pulling powers. I can still "intrude" on other worlds, and take people back one at a time... but that would take forever. So now I'm figuring out how to round up all you guys at once.

Absol: .... You can really take us all back? *has a bad feeling about this, but is still hopeful*

Bob: *shrugs* I might. Who knows. :/ For now, just... keep doing your thing, a'ight? *gives them two thumbs up, then walks out*

Jacob: ...

Eclipse: ...

Houndour: ...

Newman: :P

Absol: *is getting REALLY nasty vibes from Newman* ......

Me: Absol's not like Rio, she only gets bad vibes, and can't control it. Riolu can sort of control who/what he gets his readings from. just fyi.

Houndour: Hell no. That guy's a MAN-WHORE. I bet you he's slept with PLENTY of women before you came along into his life.

Key: *outraged, she slaps him again, harder than the first time* YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! TODD ONLY HAD ONE frackING GIRLFRIEND, AND SHE GOT INFECTED AND DIED!

Houndour: *not fazed, pats her on the shoulder* glad to see you feeling better. My job here is done. *he backs up, away from her*

Key: *is not about to let him go THAT easily (the bastard.. he doesn't know ANYTHING!)* What the frack are YOU talking about?! *steps towards him and punches him right in the nose, hoping to at LEAST make him bleed. he DESERVES it*

Houndour: *he yelps and covers his nose with a hand* g-good... keep being angry until you can't anymore... b-best way to deal with i-it... *he limps off, his ribs starting to hurt again*

Key: *still upset beyond all reason, she reaches into her hoodie pocket and pulls out one of her pistols... she looks at it before raising it... then just throws it against the floor, and punches the wall, hard. Pain shoots up her arm, and she stifles a yelp (i'm so goddamn pathetic) and thumps her head against the wall, staring at the floor* ....

Houndour: *throws his hands up in the air, defeated* WHAT THE frack. FEEL ANGRY, DAMNIT! FEEL ANGRY, NOT SAD! STOP WALLOWING IN YOUR OWN SELF-PITY AND MOVE-frackING-ON!

Key: *grabs her other gun out of her pocket, and throws it at him* GET THE frack OUT! LEAVE! GOD frackING DAMNIT, I DON'T WANT YOU HERE! LEAVE ME ALONE!

Houndour: *simply* Better. Keep your emotions locked THERE, and you'll be fine. *He limps away*

Key: D8< ..... *watches him leave, and seems to deflate a little. she storms back into her room, and slams the door loudly behind her, then grabs a small table nearby and knocks it over, trying to take her anger out on SOMETHING that wasn't alive* ....

*IN THE HALLWAY*

Riolu: *had been unable to fall asleep with the racket outside, and finally became curious enough to investigate it. he goes outside just as Key slams the door to her room, and frowns* .... *he walks over and stands in front of the door, presses a hand against it, and closes his eyes, trying to catch at least a glimpse of her aura. He blinks in surprise when he feels the strong wave of ANGER roll over him--that was definitely not normal for her... but mixed in with it, he could also feel sadness... though it was so covered up by the ANGER, he almost missed it* ......

Houndour: *limps back to the med room where the others were, his nose now bleeding* ...

Eclipse: !! D8 The hell happened to YOU? You said you'd cheer her up!

Houndour: ... she needed to stop being sad first, so I made her angry. That way, she'll get all the negative out.

Eclipse: ... oh.

Absol: *resists the urge to facepalm* So you got the crap beaten out of you by a HUMAN, just so she would feel better? What kid of logic is that?? *was really just worried about Houndour being worse off than he was before*

MEANWHILE

Riolu: ..... *tilts his head as he senses a change in the emotions in the room.... the anger was fizzling out into nothing, replaced by emptiness.... then that bit of sadness starts to creep back in, along with some thing else... almost like... relief? hope? he can't tell... he takes his hand off the door, and looks down the hall.. and notices a tiny drip of blood on the floor* .... *he follows it... and ends up at the med room. he knocks*

Houndour: Well, yeah. She was grieving. I had to snap her back into reality.

*a knock at the door*

Houndour: ? *he limps over and opens it* Oh. Hello.

Eclipse: ? *notices the kid* Oh, hi, kid person. <_<

Jacob: FFffffdrugs.

Riolu: *to Eclipse* I have a name, you know! D: Key was acting... funny... *trails off when he sees Houndour's bleeding nose* .... did you make Key angry? D:

Absol: *snorts*

Houndour: I had to, Riolu. Otherwise, she wouldn'tve been able to get over it.

Eclipse: Y... yeah...

Jacob: Y'knowwwat'd make 'err geddover it...? EFFIN' MORPHINE - HAAAAIIILLL'yeah.

Eclipse: Ignore Jacob.

Riolu: D: .... *wants to protest, but he sees Houndour's logic--though he can't say he agrees with it* ...okay... Just so you know, she calmed down.

THE FISH: *suddenly whizzes into the room in her epic fishbowl on wheels* THAT'S MOST CERTAINLY A GOOD THING.

Riolu: O.O;

Absol: ?!

THE FISH: *whizzes to the middle of the room, where everyone can see her* I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE! *clears her throat. surprisingly, she doesn't speak in all caps* The Raccoon and I have decided to grant both sides a two-day reprieve. Most of your fighters are in no condition to keep fighting, and will need time to heal.

Houndour: *he smiles a bit*

Eclipse: Thank GOD! You gotta let Jacob heal up. >:(

Jacob: I'm fine...

THE FISH: Please keep in mind that this also gives the other side the same amount of time to recover. Do not let your guard down. *nods* UNTIL NEXT TIME, FAREWELL. *whizzes out of the room*

Absol: *breathes a sigh of relief* Thank Arceus....

Riolu: *nods, and smiles* Yeah... this is a stroke of luck...

Eclipse: A stroke of benevolence, uh, guy.

Houndour: Either way, it's a good thing.

Eclipse: Yes, yes. I know.

Jacob: I... like good things, too...

Riolu: *to Eclipse* It's Riolu! D:

Absol: heheh... in any case, we should all rest, *directs that last word at Houndour* just so we're as close to full strength as possible at the end of our break.

Houndour: *snorts and gets back into his bed* ...

Eclipse: *at Riolu* Sorry. :/

Jacob: Oh... what? My heads getting a little less fuzzy...

Eclipse: That's good.

Riolu: Its'ok. *yawns widely* whoops. 'scuse me... I'm gunna go back to sleep... g'night. *leaves, shutting the door behind him*
