Nagali: *glances between the two afflicted infected, and nods* I can. Follow me. *turns and walks towards one of the buildings that was still standing, a small hut with a bead-curtain obscuring the inside. she stops just outside the entrance* Only they can enter. 

Key: *unconscious and mumbling*

Mia: D:!

Harry: ... Key's unconscious and Todd doesn't know where he is. D:/

Sam: That's a big issue, yeah. <:/

Todd: *Nervous*

Nagali: Wake her up. I will take care of them, they will be fine. 

Claire: :/ ....

Nagali: I have sworn to do this for you-- Do you want your friends back or not, hm?

Harry: <:( ... *He nudges Key gently, trying to wake her up*

Todd: *Nervous*

Sam: <:(

Key: *is brought out of unconsciousness, groggy at first, but she soon looks incredibly fearful, staring at Harry with wide, terrified eyes, not saying a word* ........

Mia: D: !

Nagali: ... You can bring her inside, but you must leave her there. *steps into the hut*

Harry: <:( *He lies Key down in the hut, then goes back out to lead Todd in. Once he's sure he'll stay, Harry walks back out again, hoping the shaman can help them* <:(

Todd: *Is with Key, and upset now that he knows he's been seperated from Harry* D8>

Key: *scoots closer to Todd, clinging to his arm, terrified and not understanding what was happening*

Nagali: ... *sits down in front of them* ...I promise I will not harm you.

Sarah: Well we couldn't just keep dragging todd around like that, and if we hadn't found Key, she probably would've died!

Harry:  Well we’re stretched pretty thin, aren’t we? We have to be careful and leave as soon as we can to track down Lucifer and... I don’t know, somehow get Altodd far enough away for him. Unless he can fight Lucifer’s control himself.

Sam: Altodd’s still Todd, Harry. I’m... Kinda doubting that’s possible. <:/

Harry: Mrh...

Mia: Well, we can't just STOP TRYING...

Claire: We'll find him. Lucifer is too proud to stop taunting us with him. If we can't get to him, he'll come to us.

Mehnit: *is chasing around a little Nagali, presumably toying with it*

Sam: *Points his guns at her. Like a GUN can hurt a DEMON. Hah*

Todd: *Lags behind, not knowing what's going on*

Mehnit: ?! *turns back to face them, losing track of the little Nagali. she groans, seeming more annoyed than anything else* What do YOU want? Can't you see I'm busy at the moment?

Mia: We want Key back! D:<

Mehnit: *rolls her eyes* Tch. Figures. Sorry, but, no. This body is under new management, i.e, mine. >:)

Mehnit: *is pulled down to the ground, resulting in a bit of an ungraceful landing. she grabs the tentacle and yanks it, trying to pull him closer and attack*

Todd: *Stares at Mehnit*

Mehnit: *lunges at him, slashing at his torso*

Sarah: !! *shoots at Mehnit, if only to distract her*

Mehnit: --! *snarls at Sarah*

Shezmul: *In Harry's head* What will you give me in return?

Mehnit: *feels no reason to hold back, and strikes at him, large claws swinging around at deadly speeds*

Everyone else: *keeps the frack away*

Shezmul: *Avoiding Mehnit's claws, he hisses at her* It would be kind to release your host this minute, Mehnit -- If you did, I would not think less of you. Well perhaps I would. *He slashes at her when he sees an opening*

Mehnit: *grabs his wrist, stopping his attack, and sneers* Since when have you cared about kindness, hmm? Has your host softened you up~? 

Shezmul: *With a snort* If I get your host back, I get some more fresh air. Any demekarr with BRAINS would agree to THAT.

Mehnit: Striking up deals with humans? Pah. It's so unlike you. *sucker-punches him in the jaw*

Shezmul: *Is left dizzy, but tries shaking himself off* ... Y-you -- You, yourself make a deal with a human as soon as you inhabit its body! We use them and give them our strength and true killing potential in return! Do not think me lower than you, MEHNIT! *Shoots multiple tentacles at her in an attempt to bind her body*

Mehnit: !!! *her arms are bound uselessly to her body. she flaps her wings and tries to take off*

Everyone: !!

Shezmul: No, dear sister, I don't think you're going to win this one. >:( *Throws her as hard as he can at the ground*

Everyone: !!!

Mehnit: --!! *is slammed into the ground, subsequently dazed*

Shezmul: *Tackles her and, with the back of her head tightly gripped by his hand, he slams her face into the ground a few times* Give up, Mehnit, or I split your precious host's head wide open.

Todd: !!! DON'T!

Sam: *Glances at Todd, then at Shezmul* DDD8> !!

Shezmul: You're in no position to argue, Todd Huntingsss...

Mehnit: *spits out blood, and gives Shezmul a scathing look, hissing her answer through her teeth* ...FINE... *releases her control over Key, withdrawing back into her body*

Key: *immediately dalls unconscious from the exertion, ,still bleeding a little from her mouth*

Everyone: !!!!!!!!!!

Shezmul: Now we take her back, yes?

Sam: ... Um... But can you bring Harry back first? I don't think that one Nagali lady would trust you. D:

Shezmul: Snrrr... *Turns back into Harry*

Harry: *Stumbles a bit before catching himself* ... He didn't have to be so rough on Key. D:>

Sam: Hey, we're lucky he didn't rip her apart! D:

Harry: If he did that, I wouldn't keep my end of the bargain. >:/

Todd: *Nervous*

Harry: *Picks up Key and carries her back with the others*

Key: *is in a rather sorry state--having been controlled for so long left her looking drained, emaciated, whatever color she may have had in her infected state completely sapped away. black tears seep from her eyes, mirroring Todd's, and she weakly mumbles incoherent nothings in her unconsciousness*

Todd: *Lighty touches Key's hair as they walk* It'll be okay... It'll be okay...

*they finally reach the burned down area*

Key: *seems to quiet down a little bit* 

Nagali: *spots them from afar, and takes a wing-assisted leap towards them, landing quietly in front of them* This is her?

Sam: *Of all people he notices this about Mia, and as they walk, he heads back over to talk to her* ... Hey, Mia? You look pretty tired. Not sleeping's really bad - especially here - y'know? <:/

Everyone: *Walking*

Harry: *Tugging Todd along gently*

Todd: *Mumbles to himself nervously*

Mia: *hobbles along, trying to keep up* I know... I'm just worried... 'bout Altodd, and Key...

Everyone: *walks*

Sam: ... We'll find them. And we'll save them. *Gives her a confident smile*

Mia: *smiles for a moment, but it quickly fades* ...How can you be so sure?

Sam: *Only waves Mia's words off* We've all been dying or died and then were brought back to full health, all times being from a high dose of luck. We have creatures controlling us. We live in a magical realm full of fantasy creatures. Who's to say we're NOT in a fairytale? Don't you see? We're the main characters. It's why we never really DIE-die. And we beat Occulta. Not in the cleanest way, but we did! We beat the bad guy! And we can do it again! :)

*they all run, into a destroyed Nagali settlement in the forest. homes were torn down, some were burning; bloodied bodies litter the floor, only a few of them showing signs of life*

Nagali: *unlike Shidako and Su'yola, she is winged. she drops out of a tree, flaring her wings out and snarling threateningly* D8<

Nagali: ! *soon realizes they aren't affiliated with the previous attack, and relaxes, lowering her wings and straightening out. upon closer inspection, the Nagali seemed to be wearing a significant amount of jewelry, and has a very somber look in her eyes. she still looks a little nervous* My apologies. *glances back at Mia trying to put out the burning homes* I had to be sure you were not intending to harm us.

Sarah: *parrots Harry* We mean you no harm, we're just travelers--what happened here? D:>

Nagali: ... A demon, it came from nowhere and began to slaughter Nagali by the dozens. A horrible, cackling blue demon, with wings like swords and eyes like coals... I have never seen anything like it.

Claire: !! That had to be Mehnit...

Nagali: *immediately grows suspicious* You know the beast?

Harry: We're not friends with it, if that's what you think... But it IS keeping hold of someone we care about.

Todd: *Shivers*

Sam: Do you know which way it went? D:>

Nagali: ... *points past the destroyed village, farther into the forest* It flew off that way. I fear it may be looking for more of us to slaughter...

Claire: We'll hunt it down as quickly as we can.

Nagali: *nods, then notices Todd, shooting him a somewhat fearful but interested glance* ...

Harry: *Notices the Nagali's gaze and puts a protective hand on Todd's shoulder* ... What? >:/

Todd: *Still shivering*

Sam: We have to... Uh, GO. D:>

Nagali: ...Your friend is corrupted.

Claire: *drinks slowly and quietly--she didn't need too much tonight*

Harry: *Lightly touches Claire's hand as she drinks*

Claire: *gently strokes his cheek with her thumb as she drinks just a little more, then pulls away*

Mia: *looks away, feeling like she just intruded on something private. she tries to go back to sleep*

Harry: *He leans himself against the tree so he doesn't fall over, smiling a bit at Claire*

Todd: *Crazy*

Sam: *Asleep*

Claire: *smiles a little back. she pulls him against her so his head rests against her shoulder, hugging him close*

Harry: *Tired from the blood loss, he falls asleep there rather quickly*

Claire: *nuzzles the top of his head, falling asleep moments after him*

Mia: *lays awake for most of the night, unable to sleep due to both worry and fear*

The Next Day

Harry: Come on, everyone get up!

Todd: *Crazy*

Claire: *is already up, watching Todd*

Mia: *is startled awake, and is on her feet in an instant* !!

Sarah: But we barely slept...! D;

Harry: But we should really get moving, considering how easily Lucifer found us.

Harry: Anywhere. We just can't stick around.

Claire: *keeps an eye on Todd*

Mia: *hadn't really slept at all--the adrenaline from the sudden awakening wears off, and she starts feeling that tiredness again* ...

Altodd: Of course I'm okay -- I just escaped from Lucifer, i've never felt better in my life! *Though Mia doesn't get closer to him, he steps closer to her until he's right in front of her* I'm with you again... <:)

Mia: *is about to say something, when she notices the state of his eyes* !

Altodd: ! *Doesn't waste time kissing Mia deeply, trying to distract her*

Mia: !! *is caught off-guard, and thinks nothing of kissing him back*

Altodd: *He kisses Mia for a while, then leans in and whispers in her ear --*

Mia: *gapes at him in shock for a moment before the message sinks in--she turns and bolts without asking any questions. how could she fall for that so easily??*

Neo: *He watches Mia run, holding Altodd back for as long as he can. Neo doesn't want Mia to die -- Altodd would be far too upset over her if she did, right? In that sort of way, Neo... Was starting to care for Mia as well*

Mia: *runs all the way back to the others, completely out of breath by the time she reaches them*

Sarah: Whoa, THERE you are, where'd you go? D:

Harry: You FOUND him? Was he with Lucifer, or did he escape? Why isn't he with you? What happened?? D:

Sarah: It'd probably wind up with one of us DEAD. <:/

Claire: And Key's still missing...

Sarah: PLEASE don't remind me. DX

Harry: Look, the situation MAY seem hopeless, but there's always a chance that we can fix it! Always! We're not ready yet, but I swear that opportunity WILL show up in one form or another! D:>

Todd: *Mumbles*

Sarah: ...Well, when you put it like THAT...

Claire: ...We need to rest. We keep moving tomorrow.

Todd: *Too crazy*

Claire: <:( *tugs Todd over to where Harry is sitting, and sits him down near them*

Sarah: *sits next to Sam* <:/

Mia: *lays down on the ground by herself* .....

Harry: *Gives Claire a short look of gratitude for her help*

Todd: *Against the tree, he sobs into his knees*

Sam: *leans on Sarah* <:(

Sarah: *rests her head on his and puts an arm around him, rubbing his shoulder*

Claire: *shoots Todd a helpless look--she wasn't sure what else to do for him* <:(

Harry: *He decides to sit by Todd and hug him, silently rubbing his back*

Todd: *whimpers, but calms down a little, hugging Harry back*

Sam: Maybe we should just rest for now. It's all we CAN do at the moment.

Claire: *sits down on Todd's other side, if only to try and offer comfort with her presence* <:( ...

Mia: ... *sits down against a tree, her panic now fading down into worry. What if they couldn't get Altodd and Key back...?*

Todd: *Cries against Harry, utterly terrified of his hallucinations*

Harry: *With Claire's help, he tries comforting Todd as best as he can* Shh... nothing's there, Todd... Nothing's there, it's all in your head...

Sam: *He sits down by Sarah, giving her a sad look*

Sarah: *returns the sad look, casting worried glances at the others. she keeps her voice low* I don't know how we're going to fix this...

Claire: *helps Harry comfort Todd* <:(

Mia: *sits alone with her worry*

Sam: ... We have to FIND a way, though... for their sake. If only there was some way to FORCE Lucifer to fix everyone... <:(

Harry: *To Sam, rubbing Todd's back* Yeah, well good luck with THAT.

Todd: *Cries*

Sarah: Mmh... trying something like that would be practically impossible...

Mia: ...

Sam: ... Hey, Sarah, c'mon... We've got to try SOMETHING... D:>

Harry: ... *He sighs and keeps comforting Todd*

Todd: *sniffles*

Sarah: He's at full power, he's completely beyond our reach! If either Todd or I still had our powers then MAYBE we'd stand a chance, but we're completely powerless against him as we are! D:>

Sam: If Todd or you still had your powers, we wouldn't be IN this mess. >__>

Todd: *Cries*

Harry: He insisted on taking the powers back because he thought Todd having them was unsafe.

Sarah: *snorts* Well, he was RIGHT, having that kind of power drives you a bit close to the edge after a while. I would know.

Claire: Whether he was right or not, he has to be stopped.

Sam: ... He CAN be good, we've seen that in him BEFORE... Maybe we can somehow appeal to his better side. Somehow.

Todd: *Sniffles again*

Sarah: ...Well there was really only one person who could do that and... she's kind of not here.

Todd: *calming down a little, but only a little. He's still incredibly scared* D-Dad...?

Claire: But that's not going to HELP...

Sarah: ! *looks up when Todd speaks* ... <:(

Claire: It's not going to work. Lucifer might be proud, but he isn't stupid.

Sam: *Silently, he just shakes his head and slumps against a tree* ...

Harry: Hey, no giving up! This is for Todd and Key! D:>

Sam: Then YOU think of something!

Todd: *shivers*

Sam: ... We really SHOULD just sleep on this, though.

Claire: ... :/

Sarah: *nods in agreement*

Mia: *lays down in the grass without complaint, exhausted*

*everyone sits down somewhere and attempts to sleep*

Todd: *Too upset to sleep*

*a few days later--Altodd and Key still haven't been recovered*

Sarah: *is off hunting with Sam*

Claire: *sits near the fire with Harry and Todd, trying to keep the latter as calm as possible*

Mia: *sits up in a tree and keeps watch. her worry's only grown over the past few days*

Todd: *Is about as calm as he can get, which doesn't say much*

Harry: *Hugging Todd and trying to comfort him* <:/

meanwhile

Lucifer: *Commanding Mia* ... Go take a walk in the woods, west from your friends.

Claire: <:/ ...

Mia: *obeys the subconscious command, not really finding anything odd about the thought. she quietly climbs down the tree and makes her way through the forest, where she was directed*

No One: *Notices Mia leave*

Meanwhile, a little later

Altodd: *He spots Mia and runs over to her* MIA! <:D *He is exhausted, but still unable to sleep. His eyes are bloodshot and his pupils remain dilated from Lucifer's control. He's dirty and grimy from his travels and occasionally lying in the dirt. If it wasn't for his excitement from finding Mia, he would look like he's ready to pass out at any moment*

Mia: Altodd?? <:D *her relief at seeing him alive overrides any common sense, and she runs to meet him. She notices the dirt and grime, but the moonlight wasn't strong enough for her to see the difference in his eyes* H-How did you escape?!

Altodd: I broke free and ran off before he could get ahold of me again -- I'm so happy to see you...!

Mia: *somehow feels like that escape would have been much too easy... can't Lucifer command from a distance? she doesn't come closer* I'm happy to see you too, but... are you sure you're okay?

Altodd: ...

Key: *through her teeth* Don't you DARE...! D8<

Lucifer: *He laughs a little to himself, then gives Todd a hard glare*

Todd: *Suddenly his eyes turn black and begin to bleed. He is startled by what he sees and hears, the death everywhere. The violence. He lets out a cry of terror and backs away from - to everyone else - nothing*

Harry: DDDD8< !!!! LUCIFER!!

Lucifer: >:)

Sam: What did he DO?? D8

Altodd: ...

Key: *screeches at Lucifer, and attacks him before anyone can stop her*

Mia: D8!!!

Lucifer: *He is hit, and he stumbles from the attack, but retaliates with a glare in Key's direction, cracking her mind in a few places as well*

Harry: DDDDD8> !!!!

Todd: *Terrified of everything*

Sam: NO!! DDD8>

Altodd: ...

Key: *suffers the same fate as Todd, and is soon reeling away from nonexistent visions of horror and pain, screaming as her eyes bled black*

Mia: DDDDDDD8>?!

Everyone: *gawks in shock, having no idea what to do against him*

Lucifer: *With a smirk* I guess I should take my leave now. Come Altodd! Ta-ta, everyone. *He then walks off with Altodd stumbling behind him*

Sam: D:> ...

Harry: We have to help Todd and Key! D8>

Todd: Wh-wh-what happened?? What's HAPPENING?? DDDD8>

Key: *her screaming abruptly cuts off as Mehnit easily takes hold of her body*

Mehnit: *transforms into her demekarr form* Eheh. I suppose I should thank Lucifer for conveniently breaking my host. *grins widely* This will be fun.

Everyone: DDDDDDDDDDDD8!

Harry: NO! D8>

Todd: *shakily looks up at Mehnit* K-K-Key...?

Sam: frack, We need to run! D8

Mehnit: Key won't be coming back. >:) *lashes out at Todd--anything to keep Key buried in her despair*

Mia: !! *moves quickly, blocking Mehnit's claws* RUN! D8

Todd: Wh-wh-where...?? We're SURROUNDED! DDDD8>

Harry: *Picks Todd up, with one arm and throws him over his back, then runs*

Sam: D8 *SPRINTS AWAY*

Claire: !! *follows after Harry*

Sarah: D8 *RUNS*

Mehnit: *shoves Mia back, and slashes at her again*

Mia: !! *her claws catch her shoulder, and she cries out in pain--she retaliates by setting her sword ablaze and swinging back*

Mehnit: !!?!?? *reels back, AWAY from the flames, hissing angrily*

Harry: MIA, RUN WITH US, PLEASE!! D8<

Todd: *Whimpers on Harry's back*

Sam: *SPRINTING*

Mia: D8! *shoots another burst of fire at Mehnit before running, trying to buy herself time*

Mehnit: !!! *takes off in fear of the fire, screeching furiously at the fleeing group*

*They flee while they can in the opposite direction of Mehnit, and only stop when they are at a great enough distance*

Harry: *Panting, he sits Todd down against a tree* ... Fuh... frack...

Sam: Yeah, no, we're losing too many people. We need to get Key and Altodd back! D:<

Harry: And fix Todd. Somehow.

Todd: *shivering and whimpering*

Sarah: But what can we do against LUCIFER? D:>

Claire: ...

Mia: *is still a bit shaken. it has NOT been a good morning* D8 ...

Harry: ... I... I don't know. Does he HAVE a weakness?

Sam: ... Not any PHYSICAL weaknesses, no...

Todd: Th-th-they're EVERYWHERE...!! DDD8>

Claire: *feels a pang of pity for Todd, but isn't quite sure how to help* <:/ ...

Sarah: ...We really don't have any way to stop him ourselves... <:/

Mia: ...

Mia: ... *draws her sword. She knows she can beat him, she's done it before...* ....

Altodd: ...

Lucifer: Oh, Mia... I know you can beat him. I was joking about you being in trouble. I have no use for his weak human form, anyway. I simply have a message for the others. They need to come soon to hear it, too, as I'm quite impatient.

Altodd: *Raises his sword and points it at himself* ...

Mia: !! Don't! D:>

Lucifer: Oh, I will. Only if the others come back within five minutes, though. >:)

Altodd: ...

Mia: D:> ...

Lucifer: They best be hurrying. I HATE waiting. >:)

Altodd: *Nearly falls asleep again but shakes himself awake. He can't fall asleep. Lucifer forbids sleeping of any kind*

Mia: *glances around, worried*

Key: *lands in front of them, as if on cue, blood all over her clothes from her previous injuries--all of which had been healed. she does NOT look happy*

Lucifer: Oh, I suppose Altodd will NOT kill himself then. |:)

Altodd: ... *Lowers his sword*

Lucifer: ... Of course, now I can use his werewolf self to cause more harm and chaos. >:)

Key: What makes you think we'll let you keep him that long? >:(

Mia: ...

Lucifer: Well, I've put the command in his little brain that if you or anyone in your group TRIES to rescue him, he is to immediately kill himself. So don't try. >:)

Altodd: ...

Key: D:>! .... >:(

Mia: *has no idea what to do now* D:> ...

Lucifer: A shame the others aren't here... But I'll trust you to pass my message down to them. Don't try to stop me. You can't. It's impossible. Alright? Alright. >:)

Altodd: ... *Nearly falls asleep again, almost losing his grip on his sword*

Todd and Harry: *Come back to find the others there* D8 !!

Sam: *Arrives last* D8> ??

Key: ...Just GO, then. You have Altodd--What else do you want from us?

Lucifer: ... I want your pain... And your suffering. I want to TOY with all of you, just as the Creators can. >:)

Lucifer: Todd Huntings, must I remind you that I helped make your DISEASE more bearable?

Lucifer: No, you misunderstand. I gave you that comfort, and I could take it ALL away with a single thought. Maybe I can make it even MORE horrible for you. >:)

Key: *her eyes glow red in anger at Lucifer's threat--she steps forward* DON'T. D8<

Altodd: *Chases after the others, panting hot breath into the cold night air. He runs in Mia's direction, remembering seeing her run off that way*

Mia: *hasn't stopped running since they separated.she could swear she heard footsteps behind her, she couldn't be sure. she keeps running*

Altodd: *He catches up to Mia and lets out a loud roar in her direction*

Mia: !!!! *panics, and briefly turns around to set the grass and trees behind her aflame, if only to try and buy herself some time. she keeps sprinting*

Altodd: *Jumps through the space between the trees and grass that isn't on fire and keeps chasing Mia, snarling, slobber flying behind him*

Mia: *the fire buys her enough time to clamber up a tree before Altodd can reach her* D8

Altodd: *He claws at the tree as Mia climbs, then slowly, very carefully, starts trying to climb the tree himself, though he's constantly slipping and needing to start over* RrrrRRRR...!

Lucifer: *Walks over to where they are. He laughs at Mia's situation* >:D

Mia: *has climbed as far up the tree as she physically can, desperately clinging to the branches in terror. She's too focused on the fact that she's probably about to DIE to notice Lucifer*

Altodd: *He keeps attempting to climb the tree, incredibly angry. After a few hours of trying, the sun begins to rise and he roars in pain as he turns back into his human self, the roaring morphing into pained moaning*

Lucifer: Hahah, well, better luck next week, I suppose. >:)

Altodd: *With an exhausted sigh, he nearly faints --*

Lucifer: No no no -- Stay awake, Altodd! You shall NOT sleep unless I tell you to.

Altodd: *He stumbles but catches himself, forced awake but still incredibly tired*

Lucifer: Here are you clothes. Put them on. *Hands them to Altodd*

Altodd: *Puts on his clothes* ...

Mia: ! *sees all this happen, and hops out of the tree, putting her hand on her sword. she knew she wouldn't be able to fight him, so she stays back* ...

Lucifer: Where have the others gone, Mia? Spread out? They must be coming BACK now that the suns coming up...

Altodd: *Remains silent as he should, being a very obedient puppet* ...

Mia: *still ready to pull out her sword at any given moment* ...They all ran far. It'll take a while for them to come back.

Lucifer: Isn't that too bad for YOU, then... >:) *hands Altodd his sword*

Altodd: *Takes it silently* ...

*The sun soon sets, and the moon rises*

Todd: D:> ...

Sam: <:(

Harry: ...

meanwhile

Lucifer: *With a hand on the newly-transformed Altodd* ... Go back to your friends. Hunt them down and kill them all.

Altodd: *Immediately darts off faster than any horse can run*

Mia: *worries even more* ...

Key: ... *calls on her demekarr again, and flies up, trying to spot Altodd from the air*

Everyone: *waits*

Altodd: *Keeps running*

Todd: Hey, wait wait wait! There's Altodd! :D

Sam: Are you sure it's him?

Todd: Those scars on his face are exactly like his human self's. Mia, do your thing! D:

Harry: D:

Altodd: *Stops and roars at all of them*

Mia: ! *steps forward, holding out a hand* Altodd, it's me... D:>

Everyone: D: ...

Altodd: *tries biting her*

Todd: !! *QUICKLY PULLS MIA BACK* Okay, something's up. D8

Harry: Yeah, no, that's not good. D8

Sam: DDDD8

Altodd: *Roars again at them, claws ready*

Everyone: D8!!!

Key: *drops out of the sky and onto Altodd's back, blindsiding him* D8<

Altodd: GRUH! *Is left dizzy by the hit*

Harry: Everyone run in a different direction! He can't chase all of us! D8

Everyone: *Does*

Everyone: *RUNS*

Key: *stays behind to try and delay him as much as she can, using her wings to try and shift her weight and unbalance him*

Everyone: *RUNNING*

Altodd: *With a snarl, he grabs one of Key's wings and uses it to throw her down and off his back*

Key: OOF--!! *lands on her back, her breath knocked out of her*

Everyone: *FLEES*

Altodd *He then grabs Key's throat and slams her against the nearest tree. He slashes at her face with his free hand*

Key: *cries out in pain as his claws tear across her face, and she struggles desperately to free herself, retaliating with a swipe of her own, this time aiming at his arm*

Altodd: *Roars and drops Key, but then launches his head forward and turns it sideways to sink his teeth into Key's waist*

Key: !!!? *briefly panics for a moment until she remembers she can't contract lycanthropy from him--but no, she has bigger things to worry about anyway, the main one being the fact that she has to try and free herself without killing him. she slices at his shoulders, trying to at least cause him enough pain for him to let go*

Altodd: *Only ends up biting harder when this happens, snarling. He shoves her against the tree once more*

Key: *grits her teeth as the pain only increases. She could feel the demekarr working to heal her, but the werewolf was injuring her faster than she could heal*

Altodd: *He then flings Key away, up into the air, and runs off to go after the others*

Key: *lands in a crumpled heap on the ground, one wing bent under her body. she was pretty sure something was broken. She was in too much pain to move, forced to lay helpless on the ground while the demekarr heals her*
