Claire: *releases his neck when he finishes, letting out a low groan of her own as well. her thirst was satiated. she glances at his neck and frowns as she had made a little bit of a mess... so she sets about cleaning it, lapping up any stray drops of blood until Harry's neck was clean, gently stroking his cheek with her thumb as she did so* mm...

Harry: *he shudders a bit with delight when she does this* You sure you don't want to be a vampire anymore?

Todd: ... Well, that's a harsh way of saying it, but... well, we had our relationship problems for a while... I blame Lucifer for that... but I think she ACTUALLY likes me... like, no string-pulling, no mind control, no NOTHING... and maybe she was taking advantage of her powers when she brainwashed me... maybe... though, it's hard to believe Sarah would do something like that...

Claire: ... I'm sure. I know it doesn't really feel like it, but... *lightly touches the new set of bite marks* I'm hurting you every time I do this...

*they reach the hotel and enter the room*

Claire: *sits on the edge of the bed* ...Harry... do you think I should do it? Take that potion, i mean...

Todd: *he eventually wakes up, searching around the room, confused, until he sees Sarah. His face remains blank - void of any emotion, though his eyes still sparkled with a hidden fury* ... I told you to let me die... why couldn't you just let me DIE...?

Sarah: ...Because I cared too much to let you die. I'm sorry. For everything.

Claire: ...It might be our only chance at bringing me back to normal, though...

Harry: *he's filled with a strong, overwhelming need to let Claire drink the pink healing potion. Flustered by the suddenness of it, he speaks quietly, stuttering* Y-y-yes - y-you're r-right, i-it is... m-maybe w-we should...

Claire: ... *nods. she plays with the side of her cloak, a bit fidgety due to hunger... but she wanted to see if she could hold out until tomorrow. until they could get the potion*

Sarah: I wasn't toying with your feelings at ALL... I was trying to keep this from happening... *looks back up at him* I was trying to stop you from killing yourself as soon as we got in here. You have no idea what it's like, seeing someone looks so depressed, all the time, especially when THEY'RE supposed to be the one keeping everyone else's spirits up... I was trying to make you happy, if at LEAST for a little while...

Harry: ... Are you okay, Claire?

Todd: *he tries to keep his glare, but tears start to roll down his cheeks* ... I-it was all fake... ... I f-feel worse than before... *he finally looks away from her, now letting the tears come* ... I-I don't b-blame you...

Claire: *quietly* Just a bit hungry is all...

Sarah: ... *slowly scoots closer towards him, and tentatively puts an arm around his shoulders, hoping he won't lash out at her. she just wants to comfort him now, the RIGHT way*

Todd: ... *he hugs her in silence, other than his sniffling as the tears flow off his face*

Claire: Mnn... I'd.. rather not... but...

Sarah: *fully hugs him back, rubbing his shoulder with her thumb, also remaining silent. she could feel those negative emotions starting to come back, and can't help but think about how it was a bad time for them to do so. she tries to hold in her own sniffles--her crying wasn't going to help Todd at all.*

Claire: ... *sighs* fine... come here, then... *scoots over, leaving a spot on the bed open next to her*

Iratus: *hides behind everyone else, closing his eyes and shutting his ears, just wanting it all to be over. He's whimpering*

Harry: ! Iratus! IRATUS! You can help Todd! D8

Harry: Put him into a trance - make him as relaxed as possible - QUICKLY! D8

Iratus: ... *he nods and runs over to where Todd lay motionless. He forces his eyes open and stares at them*

Todd: *stares back, falling into a deep trance* ...

Iratus: (C-calm down... be as c-calm as y-you can be...)

Todd: *he nods slowly. He becomes very, very calm, as calm as Iratus wants him to be. His breathing slows to a minimum, and with that, so does his heart beat, so does the blood flowing out of him, slowing his bleeding-out problem*

Iratus: (G-good... just stay in this nice, calm trance...) *he walks back over to the others*

Harry: Okay... okay, now maybe we have enough time to save him - we need to get Sarah away from those shark-things - SARAH!! COME ON, WE NEED TO SAVE TODD! D8>

Sam: *can't help but stare at Todd's large wound, shivering*

Sarah: *flat out MURDERS the sharks' minds, causing them all to die the same way the first one did. she staggers, almost losing her balance when she tries to walk, having just exerted a LOT of energy--she felt rather empty now that all that negative emotion had been forced out of her so suddenly*

Zorua: *is still gaping at Todd's wounds, then at the dead shark-trolls limply sinking to the seabed*

Claire: D:!! *steadies Sarah, pulling her over to the exit*

Shidako: *quickly runs over and CAREFULLY picks Todd up, taking him to the exit*

Todd: *stares blankly ahead, not really caring about what is going on, as long as he's a calm as Iratus wants him to be* ...

Harry: *is trying very hard not to panic - panicking is bad. He runs to the exit with Shidako and Todd*

Sam: D:> Sarah... *he runs to the exit*

Iratus: *runs to the exit as well*

Everyone: *gets out through the gate, and out of the flood chamber, going straight into the elevators*

Shidako: *looks down at Todd in FEAR--he was the only one, the ONLY ONE who understood--he couldn't die, he couldn't die...!*

Zorua: *fidgets impatiently--why didn't this elevator move FASTER??*

Sarah: *emotionally drained, she can only stare at Todd. she makes no sound, but the tears still flow* ...

Claire: *bites her lip nervously--that was a LOT of blood... she wasn't sure if Todd was going to make it*

Sam: *shifts his weight uncomfortably - he can't look at Todd, especially with Harry looking like he might break down sobbing and go on a murderous rampage at the same time*

Harry: *does look like this*

Todd: *mumbling* ... M'very calm... so calm right now, Iratus...

Iratus: (Y-yes... y-y-yes I can see that) D8> ...

Todd: *gives him a dazed smile* So calm... being calm's very important...

Claire: ... *puts an arm around Harry, hugging him to her side. she won't say he'll make it, because she knows the chances are slim... so she stays silent*

Sarah: *Can only stare. This was her fault. the guilt hadn't come back yet, but this was her fault. the others don't know... they don't know, and they'll never know, until Todd says something... they'll hate her if she does...*

Shidako: *grits her teeth, trying extremely hard not to cry*

Zorua: *puts her hand on Iratus' arm, trying to calm him down, though in reality, she was just as freaked out as him*

*the elevator travels back up to the city*

Everyone: *RUNS OUT LOOKING DESPERATELY FOR A HOSPITAL OR MEDICAL PAVILION OR SOMETHING*

Harry: SOMEONE HELP!! PLEASE!!

Fish: W-woah! Woah do you need a - ?

Harry: DIRECTIONS! WHERE'S THE NEAREST HOSPITAL??

Fish: Aah! F-far south! D8

Everyone: *RUNS THERE!!*

Shidako: *sprints into the hospital, practically skidding across the floor as she does so--she refuses to let Todd die*

Claire: WE NEED A DOCTOR!! D8>

Fish Doctor: Oh - oh, don't worry - hang on - follow me! D8 *he runs to a room in the hospital*

Everyone: *RUNS AFTER THIS FISH DOCTOR*

In The Room

Doctor: Put him down on this bed!

Todd: *is calm*

Shidako: *carefully puts him down, and steps back to allow the doctor to work*

Claire: *Is really starting to doubt Todd's survival. unless they had some kind of magic.. SOMETHING... Todd was likely not going to make it...*

Sarah: *is still quite exhausted, and stares blankly at the scene before her. he would be fine.. right? he had to make it...*

Zorua: *is EXTREMELY worried. what would happen if Todd died?* D:>

Doctor: *searches around before producing a large container of pinkish liquid. He pours some of it into a cup, then leans down, pulls Todd's mouth open, and forces him to drink*

Todd: *practically gags*

Doctor: NO! *holds his jaw, forcing him to keep drinking*

Iratus: D8 ?? *wonders what the doctor is doing*

Harry: D8

Sam: *scared - what is that liquid that the doctor was force-feeding him??*

Shidako: D8??

Zorua: *glances around at the others--does ANYONE know what that stuff is??*

Sarah: D:!!

Claire: ! *watches, actually rather curious about whatever this stuff is*

Todd: *the concoction almost immediately starts taking effect, an effect so powerful that he twitches violently for a few minutes before passing out*

Harry: TODD!! D8>

Sam: D8> ??

Iratus: *roars angrily at the doctor*

Doctor: *throws out the cup* Calm down - just look, okay?

Todd: *his wounds are rapidly closing up*

Claire: !! *(Of course it would be magic. of course.)*

Shidako: *stares in shock--not even in HER world did they have anything like this*

Sarah: !!!!

Zorua: O_O!!

Doctor: It's our secret. Our well kept secret. This will ensure that we win the war... it's made from the coral you guys have been protecting in the mines. Ground up, mixed with fresh water and the red gracillaria plant. That's all there is to it, really, and the healing properties are astounding... but you aren't spies. And you won't steal this information for your leader. Because if you look suspicious and try to escape, every guard in the city will shoot you on sight.

Harry: *quietly* ... We're not spies... thank you for helping Todd...

Todd: *unconscious, still healing*

Iratus: *watches in amazement*

Sam: So you use this in battle to ensure victory - you just give it to wounded soldiers and they're up and fighting again?

Doctor: Exactly.

Claire: That's incredible...

Sarah: *smiles a bit, relieved--though she hoped he wouldn't still be mad at her when he wakes up*

Shidako: *is visibly relieved--she wouldn't have to be alone. she would have to make sure this never happened again.

Zorua: *is still quite amazed by all this*

Doctor: This mixture can even bring back the dead...

Harry: Wh-what?? D8

Todd: *unconscious*

Sam: U-uh... well... since he's gonna be okay, can we take him back with us? Like, right now?

Doctor: Go ahead. Just don't touch the still-healing wounds. Or put your fingers in them.

Sam: We'll try not to. ^^;

Iratus: *picks Todd up carefully, then heads out*

Everyone: *follows*

*and so they head back*

Claire: ...It looks like this city might have the best chance at winning the war... if anything, they could easily outlast the rest of the cities down here...

The Next Morning

Todd: *stays in bed, not wanting to get out of it, not wanting to do much of anything. He simply wishes that the mattress would suck him in and make him suffocate* ...

Harry: *up, dressed, he waits in the main room for everyone else to be ready*

Iratus: *is awake and out* :/ ...

Claire: *is waiting with Harry*

Zorua: *comes out of the room after Iratus*

Sarah: *lies awake in her room, not really feeling like getting up, but knowing she has to. she eventually forces herself out of bed, and out into the main room--she looks terrible* ...

Harry: :/ ... Where's Todd and Sarah?

Sam: *walks into the main room*

Todd: *he refuses to get up* ...

Shidako: *joins them* I'm here.

Claire: So only Todd is missing...

Sarah: *knows exactly why, but doesn't say a word* ...

Zorua: hm... *goes up to Todd's door, and knocks* Hullo? Todd? are you in here?

Todd: *quietly, though loud enough to be heard through the door* ...Leave me alone...

Harry: Todd, we need to go work... D:

Sam: <:/ ...

Iratus: D: ?

Zorua: ...Come on...! Don't make us drag you out or somethin'!

Sarah: *looks down at the floor, remaining silent*

Claire: *wonders what's wrong* ...

Todd: *he huffs, knowing he'd have to work... and getting an idea. Todd leaves his room, though a heavy frown stays stuck on his face. He does all he can to avoid looking at Sarah* ...

Harry: Oh! Are you okay, Todd...? D:>

Todd: ... ... No...

Harry: ... Todd...? D:>

Todd: ...It's nothing you can fix, Harry...

Harry: D:> ...

Iratus: D: ???

Sam: <:/ ...

Sarah: *bites her lip, trying to keep the tears in*

Claire: ...We should probably get moving...

Zorua: <:( ...

Shidako: ... <:/

*they go out, out to the elevator, down, down into the armory in which they get on their suits, their breathing device, and they leave, out, out into the wide ocean, to the mines, there to protect miners they don't even know*

Todd: *stands looking around for what he hopes can fulfill his wishes*

Everyone: *ready*

Shidako: *sniffs around* ...The shark-beasts are around...

Zorua: At least it's not another eel-thing... D;

Claire: *looks around for any sign of enemies*

Sarah: *is silent* ...

Todd: *spots a single charging one before the others do. He steps forward, showing no willingness to defend himself. He can't live knowing he had lived a lie. He can't keep going when his hopes that Key was THERE... were shattered* ...

Shark-Troll: *comes fast, comes powerful, comes ready. He charges in before anyone can do anything and targets a very vulnerable Todd, clamping it's powerful jaws shut sideways onto Todd's whole body*

Todd: *he screams in pain (these screams quickly die in his throat), then goes numb from the quick blood loss*

Everyone: DDDDDD8 !!!!

A half-dozen other Shark-trolls: *quickly pick up on the scent of blood and join in the assault, attacking everyone else*

Everyone: !!!!!!!!!!! *is forced to defend themselves*

Sarah: *left without a shark to battle, she is forced to watch as the first beast tears Todd apart--no. no matter what he said to her, she couldn't just let him die. she focuses all her rage towards the shark-troll, and utters a single word--* Suffer.

Everyone: *defending themselves* DDDDDDDD8

Shark-Troll: *screams in pain when it's hit with a pure suffering all throughout its head - then blood leaks out of its ear-holes. It dies*

Todd: *dying*

Sarah: *dodges between all the others to get to Todd, dropping her weapon and kneeling down next to him as soon as she reaches him, gaping down at him in horror* Oh god, no no no no...

Everyone: *TRYING TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AS BEST AS THEY CAN*

Todd: *he finds it hard to breathe - though that's alright, he won't need to soon. He doesn't like that Sarah - and everyone else - will try saving him* ... Just let me die, Sarah... *quieter* ... Jus' lemme die...

Sarah: I am NOT going to let you die--*grabs her weapon and jabs at a shark-troll that had decided to turn its attention to them, actually managing to stab the weapon into its skin*

SharkTroll: *tries to swim away, suffering, but it quickly dies*

Everyone: *DEFENDS THEMSELF OH MY GOD*

Todd: ... Jus' wanna be with Key... can't... can't live a lie... *he blacks out*

Harry: *screams out in anguish, still defending himself* TODD!! TODD!! DDDB>

Everyone: *trying to kill the shark-trolls*

Everyone: *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH*

Sarah: No no no--god DAMNIT!! *stands up, and takes all the NEGATIVE she's feeling, her anger, her grief, her guilt, and turns it all into pure PAIN, directed straight at the shark-trolls' minds--they should ALL suffer for this...!!*

All Shark-Trolls: *suddenly stop, screaming in pure pain*

Everyone: D8 ...

Todd: *unconscious*

Sarah: *is glad they're underwater, otherwise her tears would be obvious. she continues her assault, strengthening the force of her attack until she sees them all DEAD*

Everyone: D8 ...

Sam: ... No... you're not... he was just upset - I'm sure he doesn't actually believe a single thing he said to you... <:(

Sarah: It s-still hurt...

Sam: *quietly* ... I'm sorry, Sarah... D:> Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?

Sarah: .... *shakes her head*

Sam: ... *even more quietly* ... Do you want me to... t-to leave...? I-I can leave if... i-if you want me to...

Sarah: *looks up at him when she hears his voice falter--he really wanted to help, didn't he? ...she shakes her head again*

Sam: ... S-so... *he's at his quietest now* ... so i-if I can't do anything... I'll just... s-stay here... and watch y-you cry...?

Sarah: *stares at him for just a moment, then hugs him, crying into his shoulder*

Sam: *he hugs her with both arms now, rubbing her back, trying to calm her down, to help her feel better. He doesn't dare do anything like kiss her, or nuzzle her, or any other intimate action - no, that can possibly ruin the moment. So he simply hugs her, hugs her for as long as she needs him*

Sarah: *she cries for a long time (Hope you're happy, Todd). eventually, her sobs turn into quiet sniffles. she never lets go of Sam, happy to have a shoulder to cry on (literally)*

Sam: ... Are you gonna be okay...? Or... at least better than before? <:(

Sarah: *didn't quite catch that last bit* ...what was that?

Sam: *he looks away from her* Nothing... nothing important... glad you're somewhat okay now... I'm gonna go back to bed... *he stands up, off the bed*

Sarah: ...alright. Goodnight, then...

Sam: *he nods slightly to her then exits the room, entering his own room, crawling into bed and going back to sleep*

Sarah: *lays down on her bed, not even bothering to pull the covers up over herself. she blankly stares at the ceiling until she falls asleep*

Todd: *Hissing through his teeth* You used your powers to mess with my feelings - how is that "nothing like him"?? DB<

Sam: D:> ...

Sarah: *is furious at the fact that she has to repeat herself* He only hurt people--I was trying to HELP!! Lucifer never did anything but cause PAIN, I was trying to TAKE IT AWAY!

Todd: KEY WASN'T REAL!! SHE WAS YOU!! FOR ALL I KNOW SHE COULD BE DEAD, AND YOU WERE KISSING ME LIKE A DRUNK HIGH SCHOOL SLUT!! YOU MADE ME CHEAT ON HER!! IF NOT WORSE, YOU'RE JUST AS BAD AS LUCIFER!! DDDDB<

Sam: D8> ???

Sarah: *the insults hurt her more than she lets on. she doesn't dare say a word, feeling like she might burst into tears as soon as she opened her mouth. she merely glares at Todd, hating how much he's hurting her right now, hating how STUPID she must be to have thought of such a ridiculous idea, hating just about EVERYTHING right now. she leaves the room, and almost bumps right into Sam--(Wait. He HEARD ALL OF THAT?) This was too much for her, and the dam finally broke--she shoves Sam out of the way, sobbing as she slams the door to her room behind her*

Sam: WHAH - ?? S-Sarah, wait! D8> *he runs over to the door and knocks on it*

meanwhile

Todd: *storms over to his bed, grabbing his pillow and screams into it. He screams and screams to relieve all stress, only for him to start sobbing. It was all a lie. Everything that had happened before was a lie*

Sarah: *is sobbing into her pillow--why is it that everything she tries to do always goes wrong...?? she yells at the door* WHAT THE frack DO YOU WANT??

Sam: *recoils a bit when she yells at him so harshly. He responds quietly* ... I-I just wanted to talk...

Sarah: *through her teeth, still in tears* There's nothing to talk about, you already heard everything.

Sam: Let me try... please just let me try, Sarah... D:>

Sarah: ... *doesn't answer him. instead, she just goes back to sobbing into her pillow, hurting too much to really care anymore. Todd--HIM, of ALL people, comparing HER to LUCIFER? that was it. she would never use those powers again, for absolutely ANYTHING. they were a CURSE, not a blessing--they could only cause harm*

Sam: *hates to hear her like that. He doesn't know what exactly she's going through, but he wants to help her, to make her feel better* D:> ... S-Sarah - SARAH - please! Come on, just let me in! Let me in!

Sarah: *sniffles, trying to contain her sobs long enough so she can speak. she figures letting him in couldn't possibly make things any worse, could it? she manages to choke out a sentence* D-Door's unlocked...

Sam: <:/ ... *he enters the room, quietly shutting the door behind him. He then sits on the bed next to Sarah* ... So you brainwashed him into thinking you were Key, and then... did whatever you had to do with him...? <:(

Sarah: ...P-Putting it bluntly, y-yes...

Sam: *he sits in silence for a good, long minute, thinking over the situation, what it MEANS* ... Why did you do that...?

Sarah: ...H-He was hurting too much... I-I-I couldn't stand seeing him like that... n-not when he's supposed to be the h-happy one...

Sam: ... And once he found out, he didn't appreciate it... I'm sorry... D:> *hesitantly, he leans over and gives her a one-armed hug* ... I don't think he actually wanted to yell at you, though...

Sarah: *doesn't push him away, but doesn't return the gesture--she was too distraught to really care* ...I was t-trying to help... a-and then... then he compares me to LUCIFER and I just don't... *breaks down again* I-I'm nothing l-like him...!!

Todd: ? *gets out of bed and opens the door* Sarah...? Do you wanna talk or something...? <:/

Sarah: Sort of. *puts her hand on his head, and commands him* Sarah never showed up to your door. you only see Key. *removes her hand from his head*

Todd: *his blank expression turns into one of pure joy when he sees that Key has visited him once more* ... I thought something happened to you...! *he hugs her tightly*

Sarah: *hugs him back* Sorry... It was kind of hard to find you in here...

Todd: It's... it's okay, that's alright... you know where we are NOW, so... so - OH! There's this weird mirror! Hold on - *he quietly pushes past Key runs out, then runs back in with the mirror* It shows how I person thinks about you, or something like that - like this - *he holds the back up to Key... and is very confused when he sees the older version of himself* ... Whah...?

Sarah: *gets slightly nervous--could this mirror see past her disguise?* Uhh... what do you see?

Todd: ... ... I see an older version of me... which is weird... because that's exactly the same thing I saw when I pointed it at Sarah...

Sarah: *can't come up with an explanation--she didn't know how the thing worked* ...Odd... maybe something's wrong with it? D;

Todd: ... I don't think a magical device can be broken. Are you... are you even "Key"...?

Sarah: *laughs nervously--she had been discovered* Ahah... what um... why wouldn't I be?

Todd: *he backs away from her - no, he's right! She's not - but then -* Is that you, Sarah?? D8<

Sarah: *remains silent, a look of fear in her eyes. this is going to be bad, and she knew it* ...

Sarah: I-I was only trying to HELP! I couldn't STAND seeing you that depressed...!!

Todd: *tears were now forming in his eyes, and he spits out his words through his teeth - words of VENOM* So you LIED to me?? So you made me look like an IDIOT, while it was YOU all along?? You MANIPULATED ME - YOU USED ME!! *snarling at her now* YOU'RE WORSE THAN LUCIFER!! DB<

Sam: *had woken up from the commotion - he wandered into the main room, only to see this drama playing out. He listens to Todd scream at Sarah* D: ...

Sarah: *had expected all of this, yes, but that comparison to Lucifer... that was a step over the line. the comparison hurt--it felt like he had stabbed her through the heart with his claws. she responds with a similar rage to his* Th-That's... that's a LIE, I'm NOTHING like him!

Todd: Well... no one knows what this mirror can do, right? Maybe we can hold it up and glance at it carefully?

Shidako: ...That works, I guess... I wonder what we'll see...

Todd: *shrugs* Depends on the person, I guess... kinda like peering into their minds... this is gonna be weird. D:

Shidako: *is actually not looking forward to this* ..mmh...

Todd: See, now we just need to wait for them to get here...

*As if on cue, the door opens and the others walk in*

Shidako: !

Todd: *quickly puts the mirror down* HEY GUYS! :D

Harry: ... Hey Todd. Are you feeling any better?

Todd: Sure am. :P

Iratus: *wanders over to his room, passing Shidako* (Hello, Shidako.)

Sam: *gives Sarah one last long look before heading to his room, exhausted*

Shidako: *mumbles a hello to Iratus as he walks by*

Zorua: *gives Todd and Shidako a little wave before following Iratus into the room*

Sarah: *is visibly tired--she doesn't notice Sam. she sighs* Heh... I knew there were plenty of fish in the sea, but hoooooooly crap were there too many.

Claire: *looks even more tired then Sarah somehow* X( ...

Todd: Wow, that sucks. D: *carefully slips the mirror off the table, pointing it at Sarah while no one's looking and glances at it*

Harry: I'm just... bed... g'night... DX *shuffles off to his and Claire's room*

Claire: *follows after him, closing the door behind them*

Mirror: *is slightly similar to the reflection that Shidako provided in that it seems to flicker a bit--but instead of just the eyes, his whole appearance seemed to flicker, going back and forth between how he currently looked, and a much older version of him*

Shidako: *glances at Todd, wondering what he saw*

Sarah: *is too tired to notice the mirror-- she yawns* I think I'm gonna go get some sleep too... see you guys tomorrow.

Todd: *puts the mirror back down. He speaks quietly, in shock somewhat* ... U-uh yeah... see you... D8

Sarah: *blinks at him sleepily, confused by his expression, but is much too tired to question it--at least, until she enters her room and closes the door behind her. then, she realizes that she's completely forgotten about going to Todd as Key for the past few days. she facepalms, feeling stupid for completely forgetting*

Shidako: *waits until Sarah's gone before she speaks again* What did you see?? D:

Todd: I-I was... OLDER... like, old enough to be her DAD... which, well, makes sense, since I WILL be her dad in the future... but... but holy crap, that was so weird...

Shidako: ...I guess that means she's still thinks of you as her dad? Sort of? maybe?

Todd: ... Maybe... well, it makes sense. And she misses her dad, too... I feel bad for her... <:/ I'm gonna go rest in my bed, okay? Good night, Shidako. *he enters his room, crawling into bed and staring at the ceiling*

Shidako: ...Good night... *goes into her room, and curls up on her bed, hugging her pillow as she had every other night*

Sarah: *keeps her ear to the door, waiting until she heard no noise so she could carefully push the door open and peek out. seeing that no one was there, she tiptoes out of her room and towards Todd's* ... *lightly knocks on the door, waiting to put him in a trance as soon as he opens it*

Todd: *squints at the mirror when he sees this strange occurrence - though he only sees his eyes seemingly flicker to another shade of yellow, being colorblind* ... That's odd... something's up with my reflection.

Shidako: Really? *goes over there to look* ...It doesn't look any different...

Todd: Well yeah, NOW it's normal, but when you were standing right THERE when I... hey... wait a minute... *he holds the mirror up to Shidako again*

Shidako: ...??

Mirror: *shows the altered image again*

Todd: Holy shoot! It - it like, changes, depending on whether or not I'm holding the mirror up to you - here, you try me! *he turns the mirror around in his hands to the back is now facing him*

Reflection: *shows a rather depressed looking Shidako - pitiful, almost. In need of help*

Shidako: ...!! *is actually caught somewhat off-guard by what she sees* Give me that--! *takes the mirror from him, staring at it. that... that couldn't really be what she looked like, could it?*

Todd: Is it different?? It totally changed, didn't it?? D8

Shidako: *nods, shoving the mirror back in Todd's hands--she didn't want to see that pitiful image anymore*

Todd: What do you think it means...? Why is this mirror changing how we look in its reflection...? And - and what did you even SEE? D:

Shidako: *isn't very willing to share* Y-You tell me first.

Todd: ... Shidako, are you okay? <:/ Uh - well, nevermind that for a minute, I guess. my eyes flickered into a different shade of... something. I don't know what the color was. I can't see colors.

Shidako: ! *knows what the mirror had almost revealed to him* ..... I looked sad. Sad and pathetic...

Todd: ... Sad and pathetic? Why the hell would it show you as THAT? D: I mean, you ARE sad... I KNOW you're sad - that's why I'm trying to help you... but... uh... why would the mirror...?

Shidako: *thinks about it for a few moments, and comes up with something--it was crazy, but...* ...maybe it shows what others see...

Todd: What OTHERS see? Like... their opinions or something? shoot, we'll need to try this on someone else when everyone gets back. D:

Shidako: But... how can we do it without anyone noticing... D:/
