The Next Morning

Iratus: *wakes up and gets out of the bed - he had grown rapidly overnight, and was now half as tall as Harry when standing up straight on his hoofs*

Lucifer: *overnight, his worry for Claire breaking free from Imperia grows, and he wakes up - he had to fill the holes in his control over her. He puts his hand on Imperia's head* ... Imperia... wake up. Stay in a trance and get out of bed. Listen to nothing but my voice.

Sarah: *also asleep, snuggled in very close, her face buried in his neck*

Imperia: *does as commanded, getting out of bed and standing there, awaiting his next order*

Sam: *waking up, he notices this. It causes him to smile warmly, putting an arm over her*

Lucifer: Become Claire, Imperia... become Claire again, but remain in a trance...

Sarah: *sighs happily, happy where she is*

Imperia: *her blank look seems to turn slightly angry as Claire comes forward, but she doesn't otherwise react*

Sam: *he kisses Sarah, now using his hand to rub her back*

Lucifer: ... *he thinks about how he's going to fill the holes in his control* ... relax, Claire... my voice is soothing to you... each word I speak makes you feel more relaxed, and more tired...

Sarah: *unconsciously kisses him back. She slowly wakes up to this, and her face reddens*

Claire: *her angry look softens, and she seems to relax*

Sam: *he scoots away from her, smiling at her awkwardly* ... Sorry...

Iratus: *is excited that his father may be taking him to food. He clings to his shoulders like a monkey*

Sam: That's... that's only COSMETIC - that thing is a MONSTER, just like his father!

*soon people walk out to the teleporter. Most people saw Iratus, and his eyes, which ended up with Lucifer and Iratus leading a bunch of zombie sheep to the teleporter, most of which were begging Iratus to just stay put so that they could stare into his eyes all day*

Voice: TELEPORTER ACTIVATED, PLEASE STEP FORWARD.

Everyone: *does*

Sarah: Just... come on, if you're going to be upset, be upset at the enemies, kay? <:/

Imperia: *stays with Lucifer*

Sam: *he sighs* ... Right... *he starts shooting at the enemies, angry and confused by what had happened*

Goblin: *runs at Lucifer* REEEEE!!

Lucifer: Iratus - here's your breakfast.

Iratus: *stares at the goblin*

Goblin: *stares into Iratus's eyes and slows down to a stumbling walk, his eyes locked with Iratus's*

Iratus: *leaps off of Lucifer's shoulders onto the goblin's, tearing its throat out viciously, eating*

Goblin: *smiles blissfully as its eaten, the trance sparing him from the horror and pain he was normally supposed to feel*

Imperia: *watches, smiling, as if she was watching a child walk for the first time, rather that a beast viciously eating someone*

Sarah: *stays with Sam, shooting things*

Sam: *quickly glances over at Iratus and feels like he's going to be sick - he quickly looks back forward, shooting things as best as he can*

Iratus: *works his way through many enemies, simply killing some, eating others, drenched in their blood*

Lucifer: *he watches his son cause chaos, which pleases him, but he also remains defensive for Imperia, who was not exactly in a state in which she was able to protect herself*

Sarah: *follows Sam's gaze and soon regrets it, turning away from the massacre. She continues defending herself*

Imperia: *doesn't stray too far, knowing she can't really fight-- she was still in pain from last night's ordeal*

Sam: ... *keeps shooting*

Iratus: *keeps killing*

Everyone: *keeps fighting*

Someone: RETREAT!!

Lucifer: *picks Iratus up and puts him on his shoulders again* Time to head back.

Iratus: (Yes, Father.) *clings to him tightly as he walks back with his father and mother*

Sam: *heads back to the stronghold with Sarah, still disgusted by Iratus and his killing spree*

Sarah: ... *takes Sam's hand and pulls him towards her room* ...you're just gonna have to try to ignore him, Sam...

Sam: I cannot believe that THING is my half-brother - HOW does that even make SENSE? HOW can my mom BIRTH something like THAT?? That BEAST with HORNS and HOOFS!

Harry: *walking past them with Claire to their room - he looks back when he sees a furry thing on Lucifer's shoulders, and only manages to get caught in a trance* ...Oh...

Harry: ... My name's... Harry... *he gives Iratus a pleasant smile*

Sarah: Well, you SAW Lucifer turn into that... MONSTER... thing... maybe... that's what Lucifer REALLY looks like? Then the little monster baby makes more sense... <:/

Sam: *he kisses her back for the longest time before finally breaking the kiss to say something* Maybe... maybe we should get ready... *he gets up to get dressed*

Sarah: *nods, smiling, and gets out of bed to get dressed*

Sam: *he finishes getting dressed, then walks out, holding the door open for Sarah - until he spots two glowing silver eyes in the distance. Falling into a trance, we walks closer to the eyes - eyes owned by a beautiful creature of some sort*

Iratus: *is glad to have finally found food - and so MUCH, too. He trots over near him* (hello)

Sam: *he walks over to the creature and falls to his knees in front of it, a goofy smile forming on his face* ...Hello... you have... such beautiful eyes...

Iratus: *his tail wags a bit - he then gets ready to eat the tall human*

Sarah: *comes out of the room, and sees Sam talking to... WHAT IS THAT? Whatever it was it looked about ready to eat him--so she rushes over and pulls him away from the tiny beast* SAM. SNAP OUT OF IT! D8

Sam: *is pulled away* !!?? AAH! Ahh-god - wh-what happened?? D8

Iratus: *screeches angrily at them*

Sarah: I don't know, you were staring at that THING and--and... *had looked into its eyes when she looked at it, and falls into a trance as well* Such pretty eyes...

Sam: *he shakes her roughly* SARAH! Snap out of it! It's the eyes! We can't look at the eyes!

Iratus: *snarls in frustration*

Lucifer: You can eat someone on the Blank Space, Iratus - SURELY you can wait THEN.

Lucifer: Ah, your... your half-brother, erm, Sam.

Iratus: *seems genuinely afraid of Sam, now that he was yelling, and he hugs his mother tightly* Mah-h-h! D8>

Sarah: D8 S-Sam, calm down...!

Imperia: *hugs Iratus tightly, glaring at Sam* I was willing. *(BUT I WASN'T)*

Sam: NO YOU WEREN'T - LUCIFER'S BEEN FORCING YOU TO DO EVERYTHING - HE VIOLATED YOU!! DDDD8<

Iratus: (I can make him stop yelling... I can make him stop...)

Lucifer: She's happy with me, Sam - someday you'll have to learn to except that.

Imperia: *(He's right, her's right, LISTEN TO HIM!) She turns Iratus around so he's facing Sam* >:(

Sam: *doesn't look away in time and falls into a trance, that grin reappearing on his face* ... those eyes... they... go on forever...

Iratus: (There - I am helpful. I am a big help.) :D

Lucifer: We should be going, you know... or at least, we should be going when the alarm sounds...

Imperia: *grins smugly, holding Iratus in place*

Sarah: ...Come on, Sam. *grabs his wrist and pulls him away from the others, headed down the hallway to the main hall*

Sam: *is very much asleep, not stirring even a little from the sound of the door opening. He wore a small frown on his face*

Sarah: *goes into his room, silently shutting the door. she approaches the bed, wondering if she should let him know she was there... but she knows he wouldn't mind. She gets into his bed and snuggles against him, quietly crying into his chest, hoping she can finally sleep--and that the things he said in his dream weren't true*

Sam: *he doesn't wake up from this - he ALMOST does, opening his eyes a crack, catching a glimpse of Sarah there with him... but in his barely-conscious state, he doesn't exactly register what it means or why. His eyes simply droops back closed and he forgets she's there*

Sarah: *eventually calms down and falls asleep, exhausted. She doesn't dream for the rest of the night*

*the next morning*

Sam: *he wakes up and nearly cries out in surprise from seeing not only THERE, but snuggling against his chest like she... liked him... he lays there and stares, the image seeming almost impossible to him* D8 ...

Iratus: *he wants to explore the place outside the room's door, but he fears he will anger his father if he asks him to let him out - he decides to try forcing his mother. Climbing over her, he opens her eyes with his fingers and stares into them*

Lucifer: *still asleep*

Sarah: *continues to sleep there. Tear streaks are clearly visible on her face, and the pillow is still slightly damp from her crying*

Imperia: *finds herself immediately put into a trance, staring, smiling adoringly at her son*

Sam: D:> *he notices this and puts his arms around her, pulling Sarah into a comforting hug*

Iratus: *he keeps her eyes forced open, staring into them, speaking into her mind* (I'm hungry, Mother - could you please open the door and let me out, then go back to sleep and forget letting me out?)

Sarah: *slowly waking up and remembering last night's horrifying dream, she hugs Sam tightly, sobbing against his chest, eternally grateful that he had chosen to hold her rather than choke her*

Iratus: *he walks out as quietly as he can, thankful that the carpet muffled the sound of his hoofs against the ground - once out, he goes off in search of SOMETHING to eat*

Sarah: *sniffles, then laughs nervously* I-It's silly... H-H-Had a nightmare... c-couldn't sleep... childish, I-I know...

Iratus: *he wanders the halls of the Deriviti stronghold, looking around for SOMETHING - SOMETHING to EAT - he was completely starving - his mother's nutrients in the womb were not enough*

Sarah: *hugs him more tightly, shaking her head* ...Sam, do you hate me?

Sam: No. Never. I could never hate you, Sarah. You've been my friend all my life - there is NOTHING that could EVER make me hate you...

Iratus: *he continues searching around, his glowing silver eyes wide with wonder of this strange, large, white place*

Sarah: *extremely relieved from hearing this, she leans up without thinking and kisses him. She quickly pulls away, thinking that that probably WASN'T the right gesture to use, and averts her eyes, blushing and speaking in a tiny voice* sorry...

Sam: *just stares at her, bewildered* Y-you... y-you don't have to be sorry... I-I-I didn't... I thought you didn't feel that way...

Sarah: I-I thought I didn't either... *reddens further* Guess I was wrong. *now a bit more sure of herself, she leans up and kisses him again*

Sam: *he kisses her back, becoming extremely happy*

Sarah: *strokes his cheek and deepens the kiss, now feeling more comfortable with it. the tears stop coming, and she smiles into the kiss--it was time to start over*

Iratus: *does, toppling over onto the ground, his eyes drooping closed*

Lucifer: *picks him up and places him beside Imperia* ... Here he is... make sure not to look into his eyes - you could fall into another trance.

Sarah: It was THERE! I had nothing else to do! <///<;

Imperia: *still a bit sore, she nods* I understand. *looks at Iratus' sleeping form, smiling warmly at him and stroking his fur lovingly. She loves him--Claire does not. She wants it gone, dead. She wants to have nothing to do with it, to be as far away from the hideous demon spawn as possible--but obviously, she can't, and is left to suffer*

Sam: U-uh, so... should we sleep in our own rooms tonight, or do you wanna sleep in the same room again? ^^;

Lucifer: *he gets into bed beside Imperia and Iratus, watching Imperia stroke the thing like a cat. The child disgusted him, but with Imperia loving him, he couldn't possibly grow into something dangerous - dangerous for HIM. And at least that was that... he forces himself to sleep*

Iratus: *as his mother strokes him, he purrs happily. New to the world, he has a hard time understanding what had just happened, why he exists, and hopes that, perhaps, things will become more clear the next day*

Sarah: I dunno, you decide. ^^;

Sam: Well, I don't exactly want to hurt our friendship or anything by wanting us to sleep in the same room and in the same BED... I mean, I'm trying hard not to... yeah... so... uh... I guess we can just sleep in our own rooms tonight... <:/

Sarah: ... *nods* alright. I'll see you in the morning, then. G'night... <:/ *goes down the hall to her room*

Sam: <:/ *goes to his room, enters his bed, and soon falls asleep*

Sarah: *goes to bed, falling asleep quickly. In the middle of the night, she has a dream--the white walls of the stronghold were cracked, twisted, blood seeping out of the crevices. She leaves her room, going into the hallway hoping to escape the gore, but she finds that it is the same thing outside. Horrified, she runs down the hallway in a desperate attempt to get away*

*as she runs, the halls become bloodier and more cracked, almost becoming rustic, falling apart, ROTTING. Suddenly -*

D. Todd: *he steps out, out in front of her, slouched as if he was asleep - but he was staring, staring at Sarah, looking unfocused, looking almost... dead. His expression was like a sad doll - frozen like that as his natural expression. He speaks to Sarah* ... Why would you do this to me, Sarah...? How can you be so cruel...?

Sarah: *stops just in front of him, then takes a few steps back* I-I'm NOT, I didn't... I didn't do it on purpose, Todd...! D:>

D. Todd: *his expression remains unchanging as he speaks - as he steps closer* ... how could you, Sarah... how could you... *he then lunges, slashing at her, wearing that same sad expression, those same dead eyes*

Sarah: !! *dodges him quickly enough so that he only grazes her arm, then turns and flees down the hallway, avoiding the blood pooling on the ground*

D. Todd: *he chases after her, moaning out her name like a ghost, until eventually he stops, staring at her as she runs away*

Sarah: *turns a corner and suddenly finds herself face-to-face with Key*

D.Key: *glares at her, but the rest of her face is expressionless, slouched like Todd, staring right at her* Sarah ...You took him... you took him from me, you whore...

Sarah: *is terrified of her glare, backing away from her in fear* I'm not... I didn't do it on PURPOSE...!!

D.Key: give him back... give him BACK... *suddenly lunges, claws extended*

Sarah: !!!!! *turns and flees back the way she came, hoping to find another hallway to turn down*

*As she continues running, the walls start to falls apart, revealing black, endless space underneath*

Sam: *he has been completely burnt, bone showing in some parts of his body - he charges into Sarah, throwing her against a wall, staring at Sarah blankly* You broke my heart, Sarah... you dog... broke my heart...

Sarah: *is scared out of her wits by now, and seeing Sam like this only made it worse* S-Sam... Sam please, I didn't... I didn't mean to lead you on, I swear, I wasn't in my right mind... I'm sorry...!

Sam: *starts choking her* You dog.... you don't deserve to go on while I suffer... I SUFFERED FOR YOU... YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE...

A Noise: *a faint beeping is heard - it steadily gets louder and louder*

Sarah: *is frightened beyond all belief, tears coming to her eyes as she tries to breathe* I-I'm sorry... *is now completely unable to breathe--she desperately claws at his hands to try to free herself, but fails--she starts seeing spots in her vision and the beeping noise only gets louder and louder and louder until it becomes unbearable, and the blackness overcomes her vision and she blacks out--jolting awake in bed* AAH!! Ah--Oh god... *takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself. she notices the tears in her eyes, and quickly wipes them away, but discovers that they won't stop coming* ...oh my god... *she can't stay in her room anymore. she goes out into the hallway, praying that the walls wouldn't be smeared with blood, and goes all the way down to the one person who she knows would never, EVER hate her... no matter what her dream says. She very carefully opens the door, peeking inside to make sure he was asleep*

Lucifer: *he carefully shuts the door behind him as he walks out. His face reveals his worry and he lets out a shuddering sigh. He hopes that he had not done something to Imperia, that perhaps with his choice of actually having sex with her, he may have poisoned her* ... *he then walks to the teleporter*

Sam: O-oh, I slept okay - good. Good, actually. Uh... how about you?

Sarah: S-Same here. *glances back at him over her shoulder* You ready to go?

Sam: Yup. Uh... let's get ready. *he carefully slips his hand out from under Sarah's, then gets up and gets dressed*

Sarah: *gets up and gets ready also, waiting for Sam*

Sam: *finishes up and walks out with Sarah to the teleporter*

Alarm: BWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! BWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Sam: *notices Lucifer's forlorn look* Hey, what's up with him? D:/

Everyone: *arriving*

Sarah: *was about to start panicking with Sam until Lucifer's sudden message--then, she has to force herself to contain hysterical laughter (no, no, we can't let him know we did that)* pfft...

Lucifer: *he covers his face, embarrassed. He doesn't know why he did that*

Imperia: *is still laying on the bed--she was even paler now, her skin almost paper-white, and her stomach had swelled impossibly quickly. She only lets out a painful moan to acknowledge his presence*

Sam: *walks into the stronghold with her* ... I really hope so too... I can't stand seeing her like that... so OBLIVIOUS to what he IS... to who SHE was...

Lucifer: *He goes pale, himself, when he sees her swollen stomach - he knows what he had done to her now. He checks just in case, approaching Imperia, then putting an ear to her stomach* ... *he then moves away from her middle, and over to her face, kissing her, shaking* ... you're pregnant... I got you pregnant... I-I didn't think I COULD get a mortal pregant... I-I didn't... I didn't realize I'd... *he feels a consciousness inside her, and moves away from her quickly* ??

Demon: *it rips out, SCREAMING, from Imperia's stomach, simply tears itself OUT, screaming, SCREAMING, a terrible scream*

Lucifer: *he ends up crying out himself in surprise and - what was this? - FEAR...*

Demon: *it turns and stares at its mother hungrily. It needed food*

Sarah: ...she's still in there somewhere...

Imperia: *screams in pure AGONY as the demon spawn rips out of her, staring at the beast in HORROR--until it turns around. When she meets its gaze, she finds herself forgetting everything, the pain, the fact that it had just RIPPED ITSELF OUT OF HER STOMACH. She only stares into his glowing silver eyes, lost in the deep tunnel of light they created* ...

Lucifer: IMPERIA!! D8 *when she stops screaming, he becomes confused. What got her to stop - the demon's face? He wandered over to look - he felt a power from those glowing eyes - this creature - this SPAWN - had powers like him*

Demon: *it stops, and stares blankly at its mother, frozen*

Sam: *he looks at Sarah for the longest time before carefully - gently - putting an arm over her*

Sarah: ! *tenses up, and looks over her shoulder at Sam, surprise being about the only expression on her face* ...

Sam: ! *he quickly draws his hand back when she tenses up, cursing in his head for being an IDIOT - she doesn't LIKE YOU, you DOLT! Sam gives Sarah an apologetic look*

Sarah: *smiles and shakes her head slightly* It's okay. *reaches back, taking his hand and pulling his arm back over her* You need it. I'll be your teddy bear today.

It was so different... she remembers the things she did under Lucifer's influence, and it was just so DIFFERENT... and honestly, she liked this better*

Lucifer: *his brow furrows with concern, and he leans down and whispers in Imperia's ear* Imperia... wake up and tell me how you feel...

Sam: *from Sarah's movement, he gains some awareness, slowly, groggily waking up* Mhnn...

Imperia: mmmmhnnnn... feel like I'm going to be sick...

Sarah: *hurries to her room with Sam* Okay, I'm going to leave the door open, you hide behind the door and grab Cl--Imperia as soon as i get my hand on Lucifer's head.

Imperia: *follows Lucifer*

Sam: *nods* Right! *he then hides behind the door*
