taro and tiro have been wanting to catch alucard for some time now. they succeeded. they knew he was a vampire yet they could never find a way to take him down. garlic is the easiest thing to think of if you know the weakness of a vampire. they apparently didn't know. tiro's the one holding destiny while taro's the one holding alucard and the garlic.
