As god of death Anubis weights the souls of the dead on a scale against truth, to see if they be worthy to be judged by his father Osiris or loose their spirit to Ammut, a beast known as the "Devourer of souls"... It was Anubis who embalmed and wrapped his father's body in bandages, creating the first mummy... Commissioned piece...
