FAC New Cat Pheral Contest (2013)

 CONTEST: New Cat Pheral 

Deadline: September 6, 2013 (CLOSED)

Theme: So who wants a new cat pheral logo? Probably all of FAC. FAC has made many forum posts and polls about making a new pheral, but it is about time to initiate some fresh ideas through a contest just as the first pheral design was. Create a creative (but clear) cat pheral design for FAC's new logo. The concept will be used to determine the new logo design. If you win but you only have traditional (pen and paper) tools, FAC can CG your artwork to fit the header better.

(WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE IDEAS WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE USED FOR THE LOGO. THIS CONTEST MAY COINCIDENTALLY GET THE WORST IDEAS EVER. BUT IT IS A START.)

Rules:
1. 3 submissions per user (you can submit 1, but the more ideas you submit, the higher chances of us choosing one of your logos)
2. When September 6, 2012 12:00 AM passes, submissions are closed for the contest. We do not take late work, no matter how good you are. :)
3. No explicit sexuality/violence

Scoring Guidelines:
  Skill: 30 points

- You can use crafts, digital mediums, traditional mediums(etc.) to express this theme, but you need skill to make it look good! Whatever style you work with, whether anime or realism, make it synchronize with your idea, and your skill will inevitably show.

 Creativity: 50 points

- We do not want just a cat looking cute (but maybe we do if you can make it look good)! Something that is fun, catches the viewers' attention, and does something intriguing is gold for the new design. Let's create a design that strays from the boring gray cat look we have had over the years. 

 Cleanness: 20 points

- Although having a well-colored and detailed cat is preferred, if the design is too messy and everywhere, it can be difficult to make it look good on the header. Make sure your design is neat and to the point! Since the contest is more about idea/concept, I will be sure to CG/clean any winning "messy' designs. However, always practice cleanliness yourself!
