"Well?" she asked nervously playing with her hair.
"Perfect, you look amazing in it." Iroh said smiling as he pulled the hairtie out of Shula's hair so it fell down her back to frame her figure nicely.
"You think? i look like a dressed up scarecrow." Shula said looking at herself in the mirror that she owner of the clothes stall uncovered.
"Shula you do not look like a scarecrow. You're looking wonderful! Zuko Tell me what do you think of Shula's new dress?" Iroh said decidedly as he pulled his nephew away from the swords displayed in the next stall.
"Uncle!" Zuko protested but Iroh simply turned the boy around so he was facing Shula.
"Shula?" Zuko breathed as his eyes grew wider. The dress she wore was just perfect for her figure. Zuko caught himself smirking lightly at her.
It was amazing what the right outfit could do to a person. Shula had never before worn anything remotely close to a dress. She always had her hair up and wore men's clothes which gave her the rebelious look that suited her personality so well. Stubborn and determined. But this...this dress showed a side of the girl he'd never seen before. It brought out the real Shula.
"I take it you like it Zuko?" Iroh said laughingly as he noted happily that the dress had the desired effect on his nephew. He nudged Zuko who stared at Shula half smirking.
"Zuko, you're drooling." Shula said ruining the moment as she crossed her arms.
"I'm not!" Zuko retaliated instantly. Iroh smiled and went to the owner of the stall.
"We'll take it." he whispered paying the man and putting Shula's other clothes in a bag before strolling away to the tea stall for some ginseng tea.
