This is a scene from my new series 'My Flame' i'm working on. i took 7 hours to sketch, ink and colour it!!
Scene from the story that this drawing is from!!
i'd spoken to uncle about the trouble i'd had in trying to teach Kim how to bend fire. He wanted to see me teach her first so he could see if there was a reason why she seemed unable to learn how to bend fire. We were talking about it when we arrived on deck.
"So maybe-" i started but the rest went lost for when i said it i looked up and there on deck was Kim. She seemed to be dancing to music only she could hear. Her moves were wild and yet they were completely controled. Then i realized they were the firebending moves i taught her this morning. Suddenly as she made a jumping move and threw out her hands to the side fire erupted from them.
"She's...I...she couldn't...WHAT!?" i stuttered confusedly. uncle laughed softly.
"I'd say you did a great job at teaching her Zuko." he said looking at the girl that swirled across the deck in wild and seemingly uncontroled moves.
"Uncle! She doesn't even realize she's bending. I think i know what she meant now though." I said thoughtfully studying her movements.
"Let's try this your way. Oh and just so you know i hate playing this thing so it'd better not be in vain." i said before placing the Sungi Horn to my mouth and playing one of many song mother taught me to play on this cursed thing.
Kim nodded and listened to my music. I watched her closely. Suddenly she started to move in one of the paterns we studied and almost instandly fire formed from her hands. I smirked into the horn as she moved to the next patern and produced once more a jet of flames which fanned out as it should according to the move.
