ZOMG My first attempt at Photoshop realism! *Well....semi-realism....*

Anyways, I was watching FFVIIAC, and everytime I look at Reno, I've always wondered how Axel would look if he were in the movie. OvO OMG!!!

So, I made this Axel pic from scratch by airbrushing and whatnot, with no sketch to start with...BOOHOO! T^T Y'know, realism is my one true weakness when it comes 2 art.....I totally suck at it.......I hope I can get better. For now, all I can do is practice, practice, PRACTICE! lol 4 now, I just do what my poor lil' mouse is capable of.

Wellllll.......this is more like Final Fantasy style, don'tcha think? (....and...Axel's hair looks sooo.......unruly.....O_e)

This is so cool! It looks like a photograph! Are you SURE you didn't just have Axel pose for a photo? xDD I'm too lazy to re-type out everything AutumnCerebus said, so basically, yeah, I see what she means. Still, it's an amazing picture. :)

it looks awesome!! tho i agree with AutumnCerebus' crit... but i'm no master at realism either... yet, this is better than anything i could ever dig out! great job!

I'm really not a master of realsim or anything, but, well, here goes :

His face is a little off centre, by which I mean the line that runs down his nose doesn't match with the angle of his face. The other thing is that his eyes slant upwards, (to the left as you look @ it) which, again, is off line with the angle of his face.

Hope it helps! It's always nice to be told how amazing our work is, but you never really learn from people who say 'amazing' or 'wow' and leave it at that.

Other than that, it's a pretty outstanding picture. And to have done it with a mouse too....girl, how do you do it!
