Chapter 1 - Settings and Risings

The Sun is setting soon...

Chapter 1 - Settings and Risings

Chapter 1 - Settings and Risings

Settings and Risings

My beloved, your beauty adorns me,

Your lips speak the truth,

Your eyes pierce my soul, for you know me.

Truly I have been blessed, as there is no greater a woman,

For surely your light has given me hope in dark hours,

You are my inspiration, the dawn of a new day.

The stars in the sky smile on you,

For you are the fairest among the fair,

Like pearls, you show grace, elegance and stature.

I rest your head against my chest,

I would never have you leave my side,

You honor me like no other, and I thank you eternally.

You found me in a time which I knew not of myself,

It was you who had shown me the way, which I had forgotten,

For to me you are worth more than the light of the sun, for you light my world.

I have you sit by my side, for men do not know the wisdom of a woman,

A Man's wisdom is like the mighty mountain, for it is steadfast and strong,

A Woman's wisdom is like a mountain stream, for it refreshes and soothes.

I would compare you to the rose, but you shame the rose,

I would compare you to the sea, but you shame the sea,

You are worth more to me than the sun, moon and stars…

You grace me with your splendor, like the oasis,

You rested beside me underneath the shade of the orchard,

You have walked beside me through my ages of wondering.

You name has left me,

Like seeds in the wind: my memories have left me,

Find me, my dearest, for I am cold and alone.

The forger is nothing without his flame,

Nay, he is nothing without the earth and its riches either,

Or the winds and the waters to cool his works.

I love you, for you are pure and devoted unto me,

Is this not what any man would desire?

An adulterous wife is a shame to any man, who would desire this?

Can any man drink of poison and not die?

Only those who the Lord spares will not die,

You who the Lord shelters, give praises to His name!

My beloved, you are my reminder,

You are my gift of the Lord,

A priceless ornament of gold and silver.

I sought you not, for you came to me,

For how could have I found a treasure such as yourself of my own accord?

Only the Lord could have done such a wondrous thing!

Such greatness lies unto the horizon, yet so far away,

You and I have found truth in love, because I would give the world to you,

I love you not for my sake, but for yours, that I may live to make you proud.

I wish to build you a house with strong walls,

To cover your bed with fine linens of the east,

Your skin is like flower petals; your eyes are like precious stones.

Ask anything of me, and I will give it to you,

I would not refuse you anything, for I trust you with my heart,

I know in my heart you would not betray me, for God is with you.

Your hair flows so softly, like ashes in the wind,

The grace of the doe cannot compare with thine steps,

You are my cloak, for your heart protects me.

I follow a narrow path; my ways are straight in the Lord,

Your ways will be straight also, for this is His will.

I would never allow nor have you defile yourself, my beloved.

Rather would I burn than see your mantle torn,

Lest, I would have any man that would violate you burn,

Woe to the violators, for the husband's wrath knows no bounds.

Tell me now if I shame thee,

If my hand shames thee, I will remove it,

If my tongue shames thee, remove it also.

So be unto you, I crown you as my wife,

You are the setting sun and the rising moon,

Bless the God! For he hath given me a beauty to no compare!

The Father instills humility and the Mother instills wisdom,

With these two things the path is made clear,

Bless your children, and raise them upright, for the crooked child consumes his parents.

I tell you now my sons, love your wives with all your heart,

Lean unto them for counsel and guidance, second only to the Lord,

Trust them, for love is based on truth, and truth alone.

My daughters, guide thy husbands with all understanding and care,

As the man puts his heart in thine hand, exalt him do not destroy him,

The wayward wife has her own bed set in hell, so keep unto obedience of thy husband.

Darkness consumes only those who place themselves in it,

Keep away from vile acts and temptation, lust is for harlots, and hate is for the murderers,

The Will of your Father stands above all things, and truth will always triumph over the world.

Hold forth integrity in me, and be resolute,

Prepare your house for my coming, I come unto your door,

Should not the husband prepare the house to present his father, should not the wife present a meal?

Why canst thou not understand Me?

I have made the world known unto you, how long will you be ignorant?

Are my prophets: those whom I commission, the only ones among you with wisdom?

Truth and Justice wait for no man; they are the King and Queen of the world,

Truth is the bow through which the arrow of justice pierces the heart,

Is this not true, that the truth convicts the heart of man, and justice administers a mighty sting?

The sword inflicts a wound for but a day,

Truth however, will burn and sting until it has been fulfilled,

I tell you now, evil is easily purged, do not be arrogant.

Will you follow Me? I am calling unto you.

Take up your wife and children, and follow me,

Only by Me can you be led out of the shadows of the world.

Have I not given you the treasures of the world?

Follow my statutes and all else shall be added unto you,

The infant knows not of what it desires when it cries, it merely desires.

Only the Mother knows what her baby needs when it cries,

Is this not the way I have reared my children?

Why must you continue to be complacent with your own ways?

Surrender me everything or nothing at all,

You will only torment yourself if you give me only half of yourself,

I can only fulfill you wholly, do not tear yourself apart.

You insist with your own way,

You insist you know better than I,

Shall I laugh at you when you bring calamity on yourself?

You have always been like this, My Children,

Back in the days when Israel was young,

Your parents would rebel against me, and then they would suffer for it.

They would cry out to me, then I would send a Messenger to deliver them from themselves,

Yes, I would save them from themselves,

Yet, when my Messenger passed on, they once more rebelled and became a pitiful people.

Glory be to God, for his patience is great and love is greater!

Now calamity comes upon you again, yet this time ever so quietly,

It will take you like a storm takes the coast.

Then you will cry out "Save us, oh Father!"

Shall I then send you a new Messenger?

When, My Children, when shall you learn?

I will send unto you two messengers,

One shall come from the west, and another of the east,

The one in the west knows of my commission, but the one from the east still walks in darkness.

The West shall save the East and they shall walk in harmony; they are Zephyrus and Eurous.

One shall pronounce the beginning, and the other shall pronounce the end,

As surely as the sun rises and sets, these two shall speak the truth.

The West will be accused falsely, but know this, the Judgement of the Prophets is the Lord's alone,

The East will be put to shame, for he was once a heathen, but I have made Him clean,

They shall walk together, and I will save them from the sword of man, three, no four times!

One shall be known as the Prince of Wounds, the other shall be known as the Prince of Scars

For these are Truth and Justice, I have made this known to you,

If these men shalt not convict you, who then?

Upon entering the Holy Kingdom, they shall be stoned,

However, they will be stoned with fire, such the like has never seen, they shall be unrecognizable,

I tell you now; they will lay one upon the other for the rising of the Sun.

When the sun rises, I shall restore them, for they did no wrong in my sight,

From this restoration, they will work a new wonder before the realm of man,

I tell you now; the beasts of hell shall rue the day that they raise their hand to my Messengers.

Know this, one signals the setting of the sun, and another with the rising,

The west wind will destroy my enemies, and the east wind shall heal the broken,

With these two I will work My Will the likes of which the world hath never seen!

Glory be unto the Lord of Hosts, His Wisdom is Infinite,

Hallowed be Thy Name, for His Judgement is Just,

All bow before Thee, for Thou art the God of the heavens and the earth.

I Will Judge, and no one in my stead,

As surely as I said unto you, the judging shall be judged,

My prophets will speak the truth, and the hearts of men shall be shaken to the foundations.

For this is My Word, Holy Forever,

Amen.
