Chapter 1 - On This Night
Submitted June 12, 2006 Updated June 12, 2006 Status Incomplete | This is a poem I wrote because I got into an argument with my best friend in the whole world... aka my "sister". We haven't talked for the whole rest of the night, despite my attempts. I'm beginning to think she doesn't want to talk to me, or worse cas

Chapter 1 - On This Night
On This Nightby Autumn Neko PittmanYou said I was your sister dearThose words in me a spark igniteAnd though you are still mine, I fearIm no longer yours on this cold night.I remember them, as clear as glass,The days we merrily spent togetherWe swore, as we let sweet hours passTo tie a knot which never would tether.Sisters we were, until one dayWhen I feared it would not be the same again.Sisters we were, til to my dismay,An argument wore our knot so thin.I beg your forgiveness, I beg and I plead,As your are my sister, I cherish you so;I know that this was my fault, but I needSomeone who will understand and knowWhat I go through, and what I feelAnd someone who will always beThere when my pain seems all too realAnd wholl open my eyes so I can seeThat life is not dim and there is a sideOf every bad thing that is so bright,So lets put this argument asideAnd be sisters once again on this night. You said I was your sister dearThose words in me a spark igniteAnd simply, I wish and I pray to hearI forgive you, Sister; it will be alright.
