Chapter 1 - Graveyard Story
Graveyard Story

It was a dark rainy night. Kaz, Krista, Dean and Pedro were driving home from their trip to the mall. Pedro, who was driving was getting a little tired.

"Hey, I know a short cut." he said

"Really? I love short cuts! Go take it!" Krista told him.

So Pedro turned to a lonely road. It was quiet...too quiet.

"Hey Pedro...it's pretty spooky..are you sure it's safe?" Kaz asked.

"Sure...Erik and I discovered it when we were nine.Pedro explained.

Pedro’s best friend Erik had a sudden dentist appointment. Or maybe he wasn’t there because Pedro was driving.

It started lightning.

"You know what's really scary... sneaking into a graveyard in the middle of a spooky stormy night.'' Pedro said.

"Dude! That used to be one of my favorite hobbies!!!" Dean said.

"Isn't that against the law?" Kaz asked.

"I got in trouble a few times." Dean said.

"There's no law that I know of." Pedro answered.

He parked in front of a graveyard.

"Are you crazy!?? I'm not going in there!" Kaz told them.

"Oh look! Kaz is afraid of a graveyard." Pedro teased.

The three left her all alone

"Hey!! Don't leave me!!" she yelled and chased after them.

"Wanna hear what happened the last time I went into a graveyard?"
Krista asked as she shined a flashlight at her face.

"What?" Dean asked.

"I saw two people burring a dead body." she said darkly.

"That's creepy...let's go look at tomb stones!" Pedro said.

The four spit up and looked at tombstones.

"This is so stupid!" Kaz said to herself.

Pedro came across a stone that said:

Alexandria Mälcanitch
1983-1999
this was strange because he had a friend with the same last name

"Uh...same name as Cash...?" Pedro said to himself.

Then he heard a soft voice singing. It was soft, but very disturbing.
He figured it was Krista, since she could change her voice to sound very disturbing

"Stop the singing Krista!!" Pedro yelled.

The voice stopped singing...but then the voice started talking to him.

"Why are you here?" it asked, "It's not safe."

Pedro turned around and saw something very disturbing. It was a girl
about a few years older than he was.

Holy crap! he thought to himself, Is that a ghost!?

"Uhhh...hi" he said, trying not to scream, "What's...your name?"

"MY name? My name is Alexandria Mälcanitch." she answered.

"Are you a ghost?" Pedro acendentley blurted out.

"No," she said " I am just a lost soul."

"He Pedro!! Got yourself a girlfriend!?!?" Dean yelled.

"No Dean! This is Alexandria Mälcanitch!" Pedro yelled back.

"Really? Are you like Cash's brother or something?" Dean asked

The girl looked confused.

"Seth Mälcanitch?" Dean asked again.

"Oh yes! He was my brother." she answered.

"Look at the tombstone!" Pedro whispered to Dean.

"It's a mystery," Alexandria said, "I come here every night to figure out why my name is on that stone."

Then Krista and Kaz came over

"Uh...hi..." Krista said, "It's time to go now."

"Said who?" Dean asked, " You're not the boss of me!"

"Well as long as you live in my house. I am. So get your @$$ moving!"
Krista demanded.

They went back into the car and started moving

"Who was the woman?" Krista asked.

“I thought that was a man! Dean cut in.

"Cash's sister." Pedro said.

"Huh? What?" Krista and Kaz asked .

"Let's take a spin over to Cashie's house and see what he has to say." Pedro said

He drove over to Cash's apartment building.

"Hey Cash!" Pedro yelled out the car window.

Cash looked out the window

"What do you want!? It's 12:00AM in the morning!!" He complained.

"Do you have an older sister?" Pedro asked.

"Well...I used to." Cash answered.

"What's that supposed to mean!? We saw her on the way home!" Pedro
yelled.

"That's impossible! she died six years ago." Cash told them .

Author’s Note: Alexandria Mälcanitch died unwillingly in a school shooting.
