Chapter 1 - Love Lost and Found

(Before we start this story I have to tell you that Yami and Yugi are two separate people and they are friends and both have the puzzle. Just giving you the heads up and I'm suppose to be Bakura's sister so don't get confused. Enjoy the story “Love Lost and Found”) One day at Yugi's school he met up with his friends Tea, Joey, Tristan, Bakura, and his dear friend Yami. “Hey guys wait up,” shouted Yugi running rapidly towards his friends. “Wait guys. Yugi is calling for us to stop,” said Bakura. They all turned around and saw Yugi running to them. When he finally got to his friends he answered,” Bakura, isn't your sister coming to school tomorrow?” “Why yes she is and I almost forgot we have to meet her at the airport in 10 minutes,” explained Bakura and hurried out the school doors followed be his friends. As they arrived the airplane was just landing so they found out they were all on time. People started to exit the plane and a girl stepped off. She had dark brown hair and looked for her dear brother Bakura. “Over here Zara! I'm over here,” shouted Bakura. She came running over and gave her brother a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “Zara, these are the friends I've told you about. This is Joey, Tea, Tristan, Yugi, and Yami.” “How are you,” said Joey? “Nice to finally meet you,” said Yugi. “I'm glad to have met you,” said Tea. “Hey you are hot I mean hey,” said Tristan clumsily. When Bakura finally came to Yami Zara couldn't help but smile at him as he introduced himself. “Welcome Zara,” said Yami. She couldn't say anything but, ”Thank you Yami.” “Well we should all go and get some rest,” said Yugi. The next day at school Zara walked with all her new friends but mostly stayed next to Bakura because she was to shy to walk next to the rest of them. “So Zara do you play duel monsters,” asked Yugi? “Yes I do but I don't think I'm that good at it,” Zara answered. “It really doesn't matter if you're good at it because we'll teach tactics. Yugi and Yami are the best duelists around and they taught me how to duel and look at me now. I'm second in the duelist kingdom,” finished Joey. When Zara heard that Yami was a top duelist she couldn't help but stare at him in amazement. They finally got to school but knew they were early so they started to talk about dueling and then they started to duel. Zara and Joey were up first. “I play remove trap so your trap is gone,” said Zara. “Man she's beating your butt Joey,” explained Tristan. “Don't remind me,” said Joey. “I play this in attack mode and it will wipe out all your life points,” finished Zara. “No way she beat me. All right a deal is a deal. Now I have to do your homework and you can duel Yugi and then Yami,” said Joey. “It's ok Joey, you don't have to do my homework if you don't want to.” “Wow Bakura your sister's nice,” said Joey. Next Zara started to duel Yugi and she won barely. “You are good Zara and you said you were bad,” said Yugi. Zara looked at Yami and started to blush when she saw him smile at her. “Are you ready Zara,” said Yami? She couldn't say anything at first but brought up the courage to say she was ready and they started to duel. “I use the Celtic Guardian in attack mode and that will take 800 life points away which leaves you with 500 points left,” said Yami. “I use the Dark Hole to wipe out you Celtic Guardian and I place 2 cards face down,” said Zara. In the end Yami won and Zara was amazed that he was an experienced duelist. The bell rang for everyone to go to class. Zara thought that on her first day at this school she would not have any friends in her class but she was mistaken. When Yami entered into his class he didn't have any friends in there as usual until the teacher came in and announced there was a new student named Zara coming into the class. When Zara entered she saw Yami and she was happy to have a friend in her class but she was also shy because it was Yami, the one friend she was to shy to talk to. “There is a seat next to Yami. You can sit there for now,” said the teacher. Zara sat down and was silent for a minute until Yami whispered, ”Welcome to the most boring class imaginable.” Zara smiled and they worked together until next period. When Joey, Tea, Tristan, Yugi, and Bakura met up with Yami and Zara they started to talk about going to Yugi's house for a bit. “You should see all the cards that Yugi's grandpa has. There is over 500 cards in there,” said Joey as they walked to the store. “So Zara how was your first class,” asked Bakura. “It was ok because Yami was there to help me,” said Zara and now she wasn't afraid to walk next to Yami now that they were in the same class. Yami turned red for a minute but was glad no one saw him do that because he was beginning to like Zara more and more. Tea looked at them suspiciously because no one really knows that Tea Gardner likes Yami accept her and she was starting to get jealous that Yami and Zara were in the same class and she had never been in a class with Yami. She knew she had to take a stance and kick it up a notch. She new it had to be tonight. “You two aren't going to stay for the all night party we're having. You could get you stuff and sleep over,” begged Joey. “We don't know Joey,” said Zara but when she looked at Joey pleading with all his might she couldn't help but grab her brother and they started out the door to their house to get there stuff to sleep over with. While this was happening Tea saw that Yami was in the living room thinking up duel tactics for the next duel with Kaiba. She knew this would be her only chance to ask Yami so she went over and sat on the couch and stared at him for some time until Yami spoke. “What is it that you want Tea,” said Yami without looking up from the coffee table in which he was looking at his cards. “Well I was wondering if …… you would want to ……go to dinner with me,” said Tea shyly? “Ok I'll see if I can make it. What time and where?” “At the restaurant down the street at 7 and try not to be late,” said Tea. She rushed out the room and Yami couldn't help but watch her disappear out the door. “I don't know if this is a good idea but if it makes Tea happy then I'll try,” thought Yami. On the way to the restaurant Yami saw something happening down an alleyway. It was to dark to see so he went in. “Let go you evil person and leave me and my brother alone,” shouted a voice from down the alley. Yami ran toward the voice and then heard another but couldn't find the two. “I need you to tell me the truth you insunifigent little girl,” said the other voice. “I won't tell you anything. Leave me alone and free my brother,” shouted the other voice. Yami ran until he saw that the two voices were Zara and Yami Bakura. Yami Bakura was holding Zara against the alley wall and was threatening her to tell him something important but she was refusing it as much as she could. “Let her go Bakura. I've had enough of your threatening ways,” shouted Yami. They both turned their heads and Zara struggled to go over to Yami but the grip that Yami Bakura had on her was to strong. “Yami help me and help my brother of this wretched spirit,” said Zara still struggling to get free. “I said let her go or do I have to wager something,” said Yami his eyes never leaving Bakura's face. “Good question Yami, because I do call for something and it is around your neck,” said Yami Bakura. “My puzzle,” said Yami in shock. “You have a deal. I'll duel you for it and the winner gets the puzzle and Zara, and if I win you will leave Bakura and the rest of us alone.” “Ok Yami, lets duel,” said Bakura throwing Zara to the ground and getting his duel disk on his wrist. Zara watched as the duel take place and in the end Yami won and Yami Bakura disappeared with the last words, “I'll be back to get your puzzle if it's the last thing I'll ever do.” Yami ran over to Zara and helped her on to her feet, “Yami, you bet your puzzle to save me and Bakura. You are a true friend.” Zara gave Yami a hug and Yami started to turn red for a short while and then they ran over to help Bakura up. Meanwhile back at the restaurant. “Where is Yami? He said he would be here. Maybe he is at home and forgot. I'll just go home and find him,” said Tea. When she entered she asked Joey and Tristan who were playing videogames where Yami was and they said, “I don't really know. Ha I beat you Tristan,” said Joey. Tea didn't want to ask any more questions because she knew they wouldn't listen so she went to ask Yugi who was in the kitchen. “All I heard was he went out the door to the restaurant down the street to go meet you but seeing you here means he didn't show up did he,” said Yugi looking at Tea who looked as if she were going to cry, but was holding it back as best she could. But it wasn't enough to hide from Yugi. “It's ok Tea. He might have gotten side tracked or something. I think it's nothing horrible,” said Yugi getting up from the table and walking over to Tea to comfort her. All of a sudden the door opened and in entered Yami and Zara helping Bakura to a chair as fast as they could. Joey and Tristan stopped playing videogames and came over to see what was wrong. The kitchen door was closed so Yugi and Tea didn't hear what was going on in the other room. “What happened to Bakura,” asked Tristan? “He turned into the spirit and then I dueled him and then he had his strength drained out of him when the spirit left,” explained Yami. Yugi and Tea opened the kitchen door and saw everyone crowding around the couch. “What is happening around the couch,” asked Yugi? “Bakura is hurt,” said Joey. “Glad Yami and Zara brought him back right away or who knows what would happen to him,” said Tristan. When Tea heard that Yami and Zara were helping Bakura she knew right away why he couldn't come. She was glad that Yami helped Bakura but was jealous that Zara was with him. Slowly Bakura started to open his eyes and saw Zara and then Yami and Yugi, Joey, Tristan, and Tea. “What happened guys,” said Bakura? “It's all right now Bakura. You ……just fell asleep and we were seeing if ….you wanted to watch a movie with us,” said Zara? “Oh I'm dreadfully sorry that I fell asleep during your party. Yes I would like to watch a movie if it will make up for me falling asleep,” answered Bakura still regaining his strength from the incident back in the alley. “Yah you are back to normal,” shouted Zara giving her brother a hug. “Normal? You mean I wasn't normal,” asked Bakura? “I mean I'm glad you are awake,” said Zara. She was glad he didn't know that the spirit almost hurt her. When the movie was playing Zara leaned over on to Yami. He was shocked that Zara would do this and started to turn red but then felt comfortable and put his arm around her. Tea saw this and got more and more jealous just looking at Zara's face. When the movie ended and everyone got up to go do bathroom breaks or snack breaks Tea went over to Zara and pulled her into a room and started to talk very strictly. “Ever since you came here you have been showing off how good you are to everybody and it makes me sick. But what makes me really sick is when you show off in front of Yami and try to get him to look at you,” shouted Tea strictly. Zara wasn't getting anywhere with this until she figured it out. “You like Yami don't you Tea,” said Zara. Tea looked shocked at Zara and then grabbed her by the shoulder and slammed her against the wall. “Who told you to say that,” said Tea still holding Zara to the wall. “I just now figured it out that you like him because you want me to stay away from him,” answered Zara. Tea let go of Zara and just stared at her until she heard footsteps coming up the stairs. “Stay away from him or else,” said Tea leaving the room passing Yugi on the way out. “Tea what's wrong,” said Yugi but didn't get an answer. “What's up with her?” “You don't want to know,” said Zara. When they went down to the living room Zara remembered she forgot something back at the house before the incident happened. As she closed the door behind her Yami appeared from behind the house and asked where she was going. “I forgot something at the house and I'm going to get it,” said Zara. “Can I walk with you,” asked Yami? Zara remembered what Tea had said but looking at Yami made her forget about it and they started to walk together. Tea saw Yami leave with Zara and thought she better follow them. When they finally got to the house they stopped outside and looked up at each other. Slowly they started towards each other and began to kiss. Once Tea saw this she filled with anger until something strange happened that she thought no one would do. During the kiss Zara turned away and Yami asked what was wrong. “This isn't right,” said Zara. “What's not right,” asked Yami? “Tea has been wanting to tell you something for a long time.” Tea knew that Zara was telling Yami that she liked him because she didn't want her to feel bad. Tea now felt sorry for Zara that she was giving up Yami to her. “What did Tea want to tell me,” asked Yami? “I wanted to tell you that Zara cares for you and you should to,” said Tea walking in from behind the building she was eavesdropping from. “What? Tea you said that,” said Zara but was cut short by Tea. “It doesn't matter what I said. All that matters is you were willing to give up Yami to me because you knew about my secret.” “What is going on here,” asked Yami? “Nothing that you should really know about,” said Zara pulling Yami towards her and kissed him right in front of Tea but she didn't mind now that they were friends. After that they all headed to the party and had a blast. The next day Zara had to go back home and everyone was there. “You really don't have to go Zara,” said Bakura. Tea walked up and gave Zara a hug. “Thank you for everything.” “Why do you have to go,” said Joey. Zara was about to answer when she looked at Yami and tears started in her eyes as she went down to hug Yami. “I'm so sorry that I have to go but I don't have a choice,” said Zara. “I know you have to,” said Yami. Zara went over to Joey and gave him a hug. “Why do you have to go,” said Joey? “I'm sorry,” said Zara still hugging Joey. She then pulled something out of her pocket and handed it to Joey upside down so you couldn't see it unless you turned it over. Joey then turned it over to discover it was Zara's Dark Valkyrie card. “This is you most favorite and best card Zara,” said Joey. “I know and I want you to keep it for now.” She then went to Tristan and kissed him on the cheek. He went all floppy just like most boys do when a girl that they find attractive kisses them. She went to Yugi and gave him a hug and the same with Tea and then she went back to Bakura. “I wish I didn't have to go,” said Zara as she started to hug Bakura again. Now tears begin to fill her eyes once more and she tried to hold them back but had no choice but to let them out. She also noticed Bakura's eyes started to fill with tears and she new he was going to miss her more then she was going to miss him. A car pulled up and there was Zara and Bakura's father ready to take Zara home. She sat down in the car and watch her friends disappear as the car drove away. But then the car stopped and started to drive back. Everyone noticed this except Bakura and when he finally looked up he saw the car in front of him and Zara getting out. He looked at Zara and then his father. His father was smiling at him. Zara ran to Bakura and give him the biggest hug she could. “I can stay! Father is letting me stay and live with you Bakura!” said Zara with such excitement. Everyone else came running over and hugging Zara and telling her this was wonderful. “I guess you want your card back don't you,” said Joey handing the card to Zara. “No not right now. You keep it for awhile because I know you really need it,” said Zara pushing the card back to Joey's possession. Tea gave Zara a big hug and was glad she was still staying. Tristan came over and was going to say something but he started to turn red and lost it altogether when Zara hugged him again. Yugi was glad Zara got to stay and offered to let her borrow some cards from his grandpa's shop. Then Yami came in and gave Zara a hug and was happy that she didn't have to go. Deep down he was more then happy, but didn't want to show it all to everyone. “I'm so happy to stay with you and my brother and all my new friends,” said Zara, as she looked around at all the faces looking at her and smiling for joy. She then turned to Yami and they both kissed. Everyone started to cheer and laugh and have a good time. Joey went to get her stuff from the back of the car and then the car drove off. Everyone headed to Bakura and now Zara's house for another all night party to celebrate the return of a true friend.
