Chapter 1 - Wolf's Song

Wolf's Song



*This was a project I had to do my freshman year about a human changing into something.*





All of time seems to have stopped. I close my eyes and allow myself to be embraced by a blinding light. Then I feel these surges engulfing me in thunder, water, wind, earth, fire, and ice. It feels like I'm dying yet, being reborn anew al at once. I reopen my eyes which now have a mysterious glow. A strange power pulls me down onto my hands and knees. Soon my hands and feet are paws with sharp claws. My body is suddenly covered with a silvery grey coat of fur. My face grows long until it is a snout with a cold wet nose and sharp teeth. My ears grow long and pointed. A tail sprouts out from my lower back. My hearing and sense of smell seems to have increases a thousand folds. I feel like racing with the wind under the midnight sky. A full moon rises and a strange passion flows through me and I sing out a long howl. My transformation is complete.
