He had just slaughtered an entire village,
and he continued to laugh.

Kagome waited.
She needed to know,
but she was scared.
She didn’t understand why....
Still, she needed to know.
“Well Kagome, it started right after you left...�
“Yea, Kikyo did the most horrible thing ever.�
“She let InuYasha believe he could live with her,�
“But the moment you were gone....�
“She went back to the world of the dead.�
“After that, InuYasha got very depressed.�
“He had lost both you and Kikyo...�
“Both of the women he loved..�
“But why didn’t he just come get me?�
“Because he had left with Kikyo...�
“He had chosen Kikyo over you...�
“He didn’t want you to feel like a second place girl.�
“So he was all alone again..�
“That was, until about a year and a half ago.�
“What happened?�
“We aren’t exactly sure our self but,�
“Something snapped in him.�
“He turned into a monstrous demon.�
“We figured it was because he had once again lost everything.�
“We wanted desperately to tell you..�
“But none of us could pass down the well to your time.�
“And none of us could stop him.�
“I see.�
Kagome couldn’t believe it.
InuYasha was a demon...
Because she had left....
And Kikyo had betrayed him.
Now she knew for sure.
She had to sane him.
“Then I must find him.�
“Kagome, you can’t.�
“I must.�
“But Kagome...You realize none of us can help you, right.�
“Yea. Shippo’s still a kid, Miroku’s wind tunnel is gone and I’m...well.�
“I know and it’s okay, because this is something I have to do on my own.�
“I understand...Just be careful.�
“I will.�
