Chapter 1 - my wolf family

My Wolf Family





Maybe fate has brought me here,

I don't know how I came.

A creature of the peoples fear,

Scarred but with no shame.



Everyone hates me,

My fur as white as snow.

Through different eyes the world I see,

But do not dare to go.



Run faster and keener senses too,

I am only out at night.

But I would never dare hurt you,

Unless you want to fight.



My teeth as white as pearls,

My fur as white as snow.

The wolven soul inside me twirls,

My complexion is one to show.



I find myself behind these bars,

Locked up like a dog.

Escape from my cage and run past cars,

Through the morning fog.



Out to hunt I run away,

Before the sun comes up.

I'm old enough to hunt my prey,

But still I'm just a pup.



My mother was a sleek black wolf,

With golden eyes to show.

We are very pretty, both,

This I surely know.



When I lay down to rest,

Along side my family.

This is probably the best,

That has ever befallen me.
