Chapter 7 - Thoughts

Hallucinations: Chapter Seven

Inuyasha ran through the forest, with only his thought for company. He was worried about
Kagome, more than he ever had been... but why?
Was it because she was so much like Kikyo? No...
Maybe he'd feel the same way if it were Miroku,Shippo, or Sango. No, that can't be it.
DammiT! What WAS it?
Maybe... NO. Inuyasha shook his head to rid his head of such thoughts.
One other thing... why had she shouted Naraku's name? Some weird fantasy? A nightmare?
Maybe he cursed her....
He ran a bit more and stopped to rest, in no time, he was fast asleep.

Inuyasha woke groggily to the dark. He began to get up but was chained to a cross.
Dammit! What the hell had happened?!
"Nice to see you're awake, Inuyasha."
"Dammit! Who are you and how--"
"How do I know your name?"
She walked over and the cross became verticle.
"Who doesn't?" She draped one arm around his neck and played with a strand of his hair.
"Get off of me" He growled.
"Or what?" She leaned up to him "You'll yell at me?" The moon rose to show a dungeon and
a beautiful young woman.
"Who are you?!" He snapped.
"I," she said, straightening up, " am slave of the forest, maiden of the earth, and enslaver of
the damned."
"the only one damned here is you!"
"Oh.. so feisty..." She leaned up and put her face close to his, "But you see? You are mine now."
she whispered.
Inuyasha felt a draft and realized he wasn't wearing a shirt. The woman draped her arm around
his neck again and she let the fingers of the other hand play across his chest.
She kissed him, slowly at first and faster as he responded.
"Please..." he said, between breaths, "please, stop."
"I'm afraid that's not possible." and kissed him harder than before.
A face flashed through his mind, and he slowly began to realized who he wanted the woman to be.
"No!" he yelled, awaking from the dream, but was it? He looked around, no dungeon, he felt his chest
shirt was there, and no stupid cross. He got up from the shameful dream and ran again, trying to leave it behind.
A woman carefully watched from behind a tree.
Her lips curved into a smile.
