Forgotten



do you remember me?

lost in time's dream

encaptured in a memory

hollowed by a scream

tomorrow never came

yesterday never went

trapped in a time chamber

all thoughts spent

until that one moment

as body hit ground

and mind hit ocean

of emotionless sound

paralyzed

motionless, still

unable to fight

lacking the will

that was required for life

and making it through

but the pulse began to slow

while the spirit flew

to land of imaginary

world of afar

no more wishing

on that dull, dreary star

falling away

from death and life

the strong pain is fading

that once cut like a knife

too far gone now,

no one to see

that I am forgotten

there is no longer me.
