Take A Look In The Mirror
You wonder why
Why my world is black.
Why I show no love
Only hate.
You wonder why I look so pained,
When you see me every day.
Why my glare is so cold
On your pale skin.
You wonder why when you walk by me,
You suddenly shiver,
From my ice.
While I walk alone
Down my own lonely road.
I, myself wonder, sometimes,
How someone could be so blind.
To somehow be able to overlook
The burning pain they cause.
The suicide they inspire.
The hearts ripped apart.
So if you really want to know,
I'll tell you now
It's right in front of you,
Take a look in the mirror.
