"KNUCKLES YOU BIG IDIOT!" Tikal screamed inside Knuckles' head.
"SHE FLEW AWAY!" yelled Knuckles.
"Interrupt her, Mr. Polite!" suggested Tikal. Knuckles sighed, and looked at the water.
"Tikal, just leave me alone!" He voice sounded uneasy.
"Fine," replied Tikal. Knuckles' tears landed in the spring.
"She loved me...and I blew it,"

With Rouge...

"All I want to do is go talk to Knuckles...but I can't. And I really don't want to talk to Jesse,"
"Rouge, this is Tikal," Tikal informed in Rouge's mind.
"Oh, what do you want?" asked Rouge.
"Listen to this song, please," begged Tikal. Rouge sighed.
"What song?"
"This one," answered Tikal.

I know there's something in the wake of your smile.
I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yea.

"What was your point?" asked Rouge. She already saw the point.
"KNUCKLES LOVES YOU!" screamed Tikal.
"PROVE IT!" Rouge screamed in her head back.
"Ow! Gosh! Go find Knuckles and he'll tell you," replied Tikal.
"No, I don't want to talk to him," Rouge lied, starting to tear up.
"You can tell him I know I broke his heart and to be surprised if he ever sees me again!" Tikal sighed.
"All right," Rouge flew away.

With Knuckles...

Tikal appeared beside him.
"Got some bad news," Knuckles looked up at her.
"What?"
"Rouge said she knows she broke your heart and to be surprised if you ever see her again," answered Tikal.
"And, I got another song for you. But it's just the chorus,"

Sometimes its black.
Sometimes its white.
Sometimes she's wrong.
Sometimes I'm right.
Sometimes we talk about it or we figure it out.
But then she just changed her mind.
Sometimes she's hot.
Sometimes I'm cold.
Sometimes my head wants to explode.
But when I think about it I'm so in love with her...

Knuckles blushed hard.
"I know the reason you only gave me the chorus...,"
"Is that why you're blushing?" asked Tikal.
"No. The lyrics are so true...in the chorus," answered Knuckles.
"She loves you, Knuckles. Go get her back," said Tikal.
"No, she has Jesse," replied Knuckles.
"YOU ARE SO HARD HEADED AND SO IS ROUGE!" screamed Tikal. She disappeared.
