Still waters
Silent waters
The shallow edges clear as crystal
lapping over soft and giving sand
simple pretty
a forgotten oasis
in a land unmarred
Past the shallows
there is a place no sunlight has seen
a place of rock and root
trully untouched by time
unfathomable
unbreakable
A shackle unlocked
A sword untested
A safe house undiscovered
A strength unseen
A sorrow unwept
A soul...
Screaming
but all is still
the waters silent
