Sonic and Knuckles were walking through the forest around where the Master Emerald was stolen from when Knuckles said" I'll just go and get a drink. "Then he walked off. Just then Sonic heard a rustle in the bushes beside him. Suddenly Shadow jumped out of the bushes and said" So we meet again, Sonic. " . "Yeah, long time no see! " Sonic said. " I know where the Master Emerald is. " Shadow said. Suddenly Knuckles came running out from the bushes and grabbed Shadow. " Where did you put it Shadow? " He said threateningly. Shadow pushed him off and got up. " Well, I didn't put it anywhere. " Shadow said. " I just know where it is. " . " Where? " Said Knuckles. " Hmph, i don't know why I should tell you but,................ follow me. " he said.
