Wasted Time



All the hurt and all the confusion,

all the lies.

The time that's passed by,

and in the end I'm still hooked on this guy.

He says we're still friends,

but I don't understand why his face haunts my dreams.

Every time I'm around him I feel like I'm gonna scream.

He acts so sweet,

`till I see it again,

the real person he can be.

A traitor, a liar, an empty and cold heart,

one who took mine and made it fall apart.

I think today

about all the time that passed away.

The moments that could've been cherished,

but they were taken, now the time has perished.

I've lost nothing but time,

a part of my heart

Which I'm mending now for a new start.

I'm searching for attention, I'm searching for love

A guy with a heart sent from above.

One who can take all the pain away,

And never lie saying he'll stay.

Because if he does I'll just waste more time,

and go on searching for a guy that's mine.
