Chapter 1 - Roshashannah

A sixteen year old girl lay crupled in a tight ball on her bed. Her dark curls lay over her face. She got up and walked to the den where her parents and higher generations stood ready for their yearly event to began. They proceed as they had done years ago before the war. Ever since Hitler had taken over there was a Nazi solider on every street corner in Copenhagen. Many Jews had been informed by their rabbi that the Nazis were coming to 'relocate' the Jews on this night of Roshashannah.
