Chapter 5 - I love you too
Staying at her side
Holding back tears
Holding her hand
She lies there breathing slowly
Heart beat getting slower
The doctors say she won’t make it
He squeezes her hand
Holding back his tears
But they stream down his face
She opens her eyes and smiles faintly
He leans closer to her face
Kisses her softly on the lips
“Good Bye…” She whispers
Her breath stops short
Her body is limp
He cries and whispers back
“I love you”
Holding back tears
Holding her hand
